I had a big intro written up on the dev site, but it was lost. Considering that the RP has started already with all the necessary people already posting, I’m just going to have this be about rules and links to access within the RP.
St. Clarence High School’s history is distinctive. Founded in 1709 as a charity school supported by Anglican missionaries, the school had its first classes meet in St. Clarence Church, a school built on the church grounds in 1749, and it is the oldest continuously operating educational institution in the city of New York.
In their horizontal expansiveness, our facilities are enviable. The school stretches nearly the length of 91st Street between Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. In addition to classrooms, labs and offices, the school includes a garden, a rooftop playing field, two rooftop tennis courts, a dining room, two chapels, two theaters, a swimming pool, three playgrounds, a weight room, a fine arts pavilion, two libraries, and three gymnasiums.
The heart of the St. Clarence experience is the relationship between inspiring, caring teachers and talented, motivated, and engaged students. At St. Clarence, "the life of the mind" is not a cliché; it is a lived reality: students here are enlivened by the power of ideas, made available in engaging conversations with teachers passionate about ideas that shape, define, and change the world. In their classrooms and labs and assembly halls, St. Clarence students pursue a rigorous and challenging course of academic study that prepares them for success in the most competitive colleges and universities.
From the fourth grader collecting marine biology specimens at Jamaica Bay to the senior preparing to discourse on Vergil’s Aeneid before a panel of classics professors from renowned universities, St. Clarence students are engaged, active, and happy participants in their own educations.
St. Clarence is best known for its intellectual vitality and so much more: balanced educational program for body and mind, heart and soul, incorporating the arts, athletics, and community service; a chapel program that calls students not only to grow into their best selves, but also to reach out beyond themselves to address needs and realities greater than themselves; an embracing and empowering sense of community that finds strength in diversity, unity in its shared commitment to care and understanding, meaning in its labours, and joy in its play.
There is a big list of Cliques here -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolescent_cliques, with appropriate explanation and aspect of further exploration into Cliques. You can mix and match cliques as you like, but remember, this has to be at least realistic!
Just remember that God Modding is not allowed in this RP either. You cannot be a druggy or alcoholic and then be a nerd at the same time, because (a) it doesn’t fit the stereotype and (b) you’re not going to score high marks if you show up high to class, and eventually “fall out” of your clique.
Also taking part in activities like drama or sports will affect your grades, as you will be spending a lot of time outside class. Therefore if you’re taking up things such as Sports + 4 electives, do not expect to be able to get amazing grades as your time is split up.
Since this is a fictional RP, I’m going to make this a very difficult school to get into and study in. Most of you who have got in have done so due to status and background, or scholarships, but mainly it’s excellence in field. So if you’re a nerd, you’re the best nerd out there. Therefore this makes everything a lot harder, you’re going to have to try much harder to get good grades, ace at sports etc.
Also rule breakers: considering everything, this is going to be worse for you because this would mean the school deals out suspension cards like pancakes. Don’t get into a BIG mess, that’s all I can say, I’m trying to keep this as realistic and simple as possible, so things that will get you kicked out of normal school will get you kicked out of this one.

Alright listen up here kids.
It’s time to discuss the main event - classes.
Now I’m not sure what you know about the American education system, and frankly, I’m not even sure what I know about the American education system, but in the RP, this is how it works.
As you might have seen the people you RP with, you may notice that some people are in your “class” or form. That is, if you’re a sophomore, you find that there are indeed, other sophomores. Now you interact with them, in your CORE classes, and you interact with the various other classes, higher or lower in your elective classes.
So for example, Ontos and Foster, playing Spencer and Robert, are both juniors . They will have their core classes together, and if say Bella, my character, wanted to share a class with Foster’s character, then I can go take up the Elective subject he is doing.
It’s important we all discuss at one point the elective subjects, or once you choose the elective subjects that others pick the same thing. As far as I see, we have two “Prep” clique people, Ontos and Kanga, who are in Junior and sophomore respectively, so generally they both would take some fancy Preppy class like Macroeconomics. Now if anyone else is interested, and I think you should be, you should skip your classes to go and attend this one. Now comes in logic, saying, a freshman can’t attend the class because he / she won’t understand it, but in this RP world, everything goes.
I have uploaded an Excel sheet which you will all need to look at, and come up with classes and electives ASAP. Or, to keep time simple, pick a person you like and take their electives at the same time they are taking it.
Also – you can also skip classes or time skip classes if no one is in them with you and you don’t want anything interesting to happen there. So, since most of my Core classes would be alone since I’m the only freshman as of this point, I might skip over a few and attend mainly or wait for mainly my friends to get into Elective classes so I may join them. You can ask me about any doubts you have.

Astrisk means it's a 1-semester half-credit course.
The double-S means it's NCAA credit. (college-credit)
This is the summer and winter uniform for the girls, since it’s winter, you’ll be wearing the dark skirt one. Boys are coming soon.
Prepared by the lovely Berzie:
ENGLISH - 6 ft 4, slightly sarcastic and known for his dark humour, short temper and snazzy suits (he always tries to outdress Mr Mitchellson), English is taught by the 34 year old, Boston born womanizer, Mr Paul Cancellier.

MATHS- Known for loving her job, mathematics is taught by the happy-go-lucky Mrs Lindsey Duvall. Although she’s a whizz at maths, she’s also a total ditz at times and is notoriously known for being late for most of her classes.

ART- Danish-born, 48 year old Mr Anders Mitchellson, teaches art with his extensive knowledge in art history. He was at first offered to teach music, but turned it down for a more messy creative outlet. He always loved the smell of fresh paper. (Most people are too afraid of him to ask where his accent is from, but they mostly guess somewhere like Romania or Transylvania)

HISTORY - Quiet spoken and generally everyone’s favourite teacher, Mr Carl Rucker is one of the nicer teachers at St Claires. Not only is he nice, he’s known for being a bit too nice - as in he’s a total push-over. He loves his classes and is always excited to teach, and learn, about history. He’s known for giving out candy to his students who get A’s and also for his great smile!

SOCIOLOGY - Although she had applied for the history position, Ms Georgia Robinson had a degree in sociology and was given that position instead. Most students know about her one-sided feud with Mr Rucker (her being the one that always likes to poke fun at him and him always laughing it off and smiling politely) what they don’t know is that she has a tad bit of a crush on him as well. What can she say? She likes sweet guys and history.

SCIENCE - Incredibly nervous and always seen with ash on his face (probably from touching a bunsen burner and accidentally wiping his face), Mr Charlie Martin is St Claire’s science teacher!
