Hopefully this works out for this. If anything needs changing just let me know. Name: Takashi Midiara Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Age: 18 Appearance: Personality: Constantly comes off as being very disinterested in most things, but in truth it is that he has simply grown tired due to his disease. He is very apathetic towards a lot of things, but still remains truly loyal to those he has grown close to during his time at the academy. Tends to try and brighten other peoples' moods as best he can and is not afraid to put himself out into the public eye if that is what the situation calls for. Skills: In terms of his skills, Takashi is quite smart in the ways of his classes, being a constant name on the highest score marks in the academy year in and year out. He also has found enough free time to himself to become quite adept at Tarot cards, giving out fortunes to many people that dare see what fate may have in store for them. Usually is very aware of the actions other students of his class, so his interpretations of the meanings of the cards is so spot on at times people claim him to be a wizard, a claim that he has laughed off repeatedly. Sadly due to his illness he has no real ability to stay physically active and mostly resides himself in his room after his classes. He can go out every once and a while, but he has to prepare himself accordingly otherwise he may just collapse and not be able to carry himself. Takashi hates to be a burden so he often will end up turning down an out of the blue invite to go and to somewhere. Bio: Being raised in a quiet suburb, Takashi was constantly watching other children, his brother included play games outside in the sun and on the freshly cut grass. His parents never let him leave the house on his own and were constantly taking him to doctor's visits as a child. Early on, Takashi was diagnosed with Becker's muscular dystrophy, a disease that ate away at his muscles every day he breathed. He had to hear each day how the disease was progressing, slowly one day and suddenly a striking development the next. Because of this, Takashi was never able to truly experience what it was like to be a child and eventually developed a view on the world as being very boring and dramatic, due to his parent's constant worrying. By age 14, Takashi had practically become a shut in inside his own home. His legs were worthless, being stuck in a wheel chair since age nine. His chest was in constant pain due to the disease, a symptom that was to develop. Another lucky draw he supposed. Worst yet, his own blood had seemingly distanced himself away due to fear. Perhaps it was unfounded fear of contracting the disease. Takashi assumed it was fear of being connected to something you weren't sure was going to survive. Better to not be close that way it wouldn't hurt in the end he thought. Takashi was beginning to see nothing but gray in his world, with no chance of light returning he feared. At age 16 he was offered a chance to join Yamaku, a school for children with disabilities. His parents urged him to take the chance. Again, he assumed it was to get further away from him. His brother was also in the crowd to push him out the door it seemed. Takashi took the offer and eventually found himself living among so many others who had the same hurt and fear as he did, and it made him feel, disappointingly, at home. Over the years he has gained some strength in his legs back, mainly through the new therapy that the school provides for him. Now out of his wheel chair, he walks around with a cane most of the time. There are days however where the pain is a little too much for him and he ends up in his wheel chair again. It is during these days that students go up to him often and receive their Tarot readings. Due to his lack of mobility, he figured it would be better to have something to do rather than nothing at all and stare out of the window the whole lunch period. He has regained some of his smile back since he came to Yamaku, but that feeling of rejection and fear still haunt the back of his mind. Other: Tends to spend a good portion of time in the library when he can walk with his cane. It calms him and the walk from his class to the library keeps his strength up. Sometimes will get into arguments just for the sake of it, especially with Makishimu should an opportunity ever arise. He does this mainly because it is funny and Makishimu is able to take a few playful jabs because of his always cheery attitude.
