Josephine's hand slid into his hair, soft tresses falling between her fingers. She smiled just a bit when she felt his tongue at her lips and opened her mouth, deepening the kiss. She pulled away just a bit after several long moments, resting her forehead against his, her eyes closed. Her breath was ragged and she gulped, finally raising her eyes to meet his. The chocolate brown eyes always looked at her with such warmth that she mistook for friendship. Now, she couldn't misunderstand anything. His look started a fire in the pit of her stomach.
