Definately, the party is meant to be faceless so I'm glad I put that image through.

The OS ironically is really low in the party power scale. That's why he's on the ship, he more akin to some petty expendable manager that's been shuffled into a bad position. They knew he's got a low chance of coming back alive, but the party got to have someone there to keep an eye on the crew.

Plus most importantly...if someone in the party WAS blamed, instead of the director who put zelta crew together the OverSeer gets the blame. It helps they're normally dead so they can't defend themselve either. I mean, he WAS the over seer. "He was directly managing them, who elses fault could it be that zelta crew died/turned traitor/ mutated into space nymph psycho cyborgs"

Happens rarely, most of the time it's the captain but it's an extra buffer.

Powerful people exploiting less power people who exploit even less powerful people.

So, bad news... Turns out my free time is going to be very limited the next few weeks. So I'm sadly going to have to dip out of this for now. I'd rather not turn into the lynchpin that grinds the RP to a screeching halt, simply because I cant get a post in.

Shit, its starting to look like we might in the end have to start with less than a skeleton crew. It sucks because I felt that the base roles would add alot, but maybe we can start with a smaller ship and smaller crew. Hopefully when ZELTA crew 02 shuffle in more people will be interested when roles rotate/open up again.

Added the zelta crew flavor list to the Original Post. I've added the exact responsbilities under them this time, so everyone get's a bit of a clearer idea of exactly what each role will do.

Well, there's some questions. What IS our officer perspective on him. Because in this we just have a very formal psych report, we don't know his liabilities or personality by the view of our seargent. Why is being sent to ZELTA crew when the party could rope anyone with impunity to do this?

The officer doing this is most likely recommending him with full knowledge as to lethality-and length- of the job

From this we short piece we know that:

Key parts of her personality. She was probably tolerated and treated with a soft contempt by her managers. Reason why she's being pushed out of her current position

(from the general demeanor of this whole thing they seem to of got sick of her so they shoveled her off to ZELTA crew but they don't expressly say it)

It's a good way to build your character indirectly and their sort of relationship with the universe. Kind of gives you lore via implication.

@ScreenAcne I'm just going to plonk my WIP here, in case there are any inputs you wish to have while I am still working on it. I'm trying to make a little commentary about consumerism and the party's desire to get people to be more self-conscious thus more spendy. Which wasn't working in his case.

@ScreenAcne Mmm, nothing rustles my jimmies more than some gritty space opera about our glorious coroprate overlords and the dreams of people getting crushed under the mad-max style steel boot of reality.

For the latter part of the AI CS, the Backstory, I'm confused by the two paragraphs that are there as an explanation;



Is the AI not activated at the start of the RP? Is it in storage? This helpful text confuzzles me. I'm almost done the sheet for the AI, but that part is blocking my path. ;P

You're in storage. Precisely, you've been uninstalled from whatever big system you were in prior and had your chip put in an enevelope and that put in a dusty cabinent with a bunch of other A.I stored away. You are re-inserted and "wake up" when the crew pick their ship(they will get to vote for one off a list).

shit, success in the scribery check, comrade. Each ship will have an A.I player with its own hidden laws and commands. Welcome to the warzone. We sort of short of a skeleton crew but when everyone in we can wing it slightly under.

The needed roles are medical or OS. Keep in mind you'll probably have you brain mutate into mush no matter who you pick. The chance of mot people surviving is very low.

Only thing to I'd say is split up the recommendations paragraph a little bit to make it easier to read but I like the idea of showing a conversation, it still delivers the point.

If you're going to go down that route. It might make more sense if there was a coliation or something of merchants paying the party a lot to help them with that. The party itself would just make up some bullshit to fine you for.

"Hey, notice no more than 25% of your liquid currency has left your account this year. Spending is what a party patron would do. Your deviant behavour has been fined 60% of your current account" or something.
