'Hm, he liked fantastic things didn't he?' She mused. Rose found it a bit amusing. Yeah, Draco did have issues, a lot more than he probably knew about. She felt a little sorry for him but still, that didn't make his actions any less awful. He was such a git, she'd probably give him one last punch before she left, regardless if the Doctor approved or not. But it was good to know that he did. But if she was leaving the school once and for all (whenever that may be), consequences didn't really matter, like the homework and everything else. What did matter was unknown to Rose. She still had her home back in present day London. She had her mum and friends. But maybe she didn't have to go back, not yet anyway. The man began to talk about life and how things could end but not necessarily die. He spoke of particles and everything space related. There was a bit of somberness to his tone, some of it hiding behind those dark eyes of his. Rose watched him, finding it a bit hard to follow his train of thought. She did grasp the general idea though and gave him a bit of a smile. The Doctor then looked to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. Rose got the general idea, things moved on, changed but they were still living things, that hope was never really dead. Something like that. He then thanked her for coming with him. At first she wanted to brush off his thanks since she was the one who owed him. Well they sort of owed one another. Had it not been for her, he would still be someone else. But had it not been for him, she'd still be somewhere else. It sort of worked out in both of their favors. She smiled at his compliment and her grin grew wider. "I'm really glad to be here." She told him. Still, they knew so little about one another, Rose had a feeling she could trust the Doctor. She looked back out over the constellation. It was very pretty, she had only seen pictures and documentaries but this was the real thing. And it was, as he put it, fantastic. "Is there any place you haven't been?" Rose asked him. While the possibilities were endless, she still had no idea where to go or even who she would be going but for now, it felt good. And she hadn't felt that in a while. "The unknown isn't so scary." She shrugged a little. "Not if ya got fantastic company. And I promise to be just that." She grinned. - - - The Doctor was very complimentary towards her but Luna couldn't help but feel some pressure. She was older, she knew more and thus things were expected of her that wouldn't be, say two weeks ago. While she did enjoy the surge of power and control, she really had no practice with her newly matured mind or body. Luna glanced down, trying to steady her thoughts. The Doctor then said that she was brilliant, among other blush worthy things. He finished by putting his hand over hers and said he'd by her side when she did figure everything out, she did appreciate that. She was still learning about herself and things back at Hogwarts were still up in the air. Danger was coming but they didn't what or from where. Still, she didn't feel nervous or uneasy. Actually, the blond wasn't sure what to call her feeling presently. Instead, she just went back to eating, as her redness faded. Luna looked around from time to time, people came and went. The area was nice and out of the way it seemed. She looked to the Doctor who seemed happy with himself. When they had finished eating, they looked around the bistro for a bit, he spoke of the different aliens they came across and Luna made sure to try and remember them as best she could. It really wasn't easy, she envied the man who could remember everything but she supposed in a sense that was a curse as much as a blessing. Luna liked being shown around though. Everything was bright, shiny and new to her. And she was always happy to learn more things. The meal had been good, as well as the small tour. She was ready to go to bed though. Luna wasn't sure if Time Lords slept or not but either way, going back to the school wouldn't be such a bad thing. One of the perks of having a master of time meant that they could use it wisely. Luna was tempted to ask him to take her to her father's house so she could talk to him or see him one last time. But she felt like she didn't need to rush things or appear as though she was using the Doctor. She didn't think he'd regard her request in such a way, but he had already been so kind to her, she thought one trip was more than good enough. "Thank you again, Doctor." Luna smiled gently to him as they got back into the TARDIS. - - - Hermione had been worried that she had caused some awkward tension but it didn't seem to be the case. Harry soon replied, voice gentle and warm like sipping hot cocoa. He said that he liked it, that their time together presently was different but good and that looking back, he'd smile fondly. Hermione smiled shyly and glanced down. "I'm glad..." She replied and licked her lips. She waited a few more seconds before she got up and moved over to where Harry was. She gave him a bit of a push as he had done for her. She told herself, 'Don't be such a ponce, it's just Harry.' She thought but that wasn't even it. It was Harry. And she was with him, alone, at night, in a place that took her back to her lonely childhood of books and teasing. She gripped the chains on the swing above his head and swung her head down. Now wasn't the time. "I think we better head back before it gets too late." Hermione announced. She removed herself from him and turned to look at the other part of the park, vacant and cold. She turned back to Harry and tried to put any unusual feelings behind her. The last thing she wanted to do was complicate things and ruin the holiday. She walked back with him and they talked about the next few days, what they could do. Sadly their professors had sent them back with homework but Hermione was confident, as usual, that they could get it done and out of the way in no time. "I bet Ron has already forgotten he has work to do." She laughed as they got back to her house. Unlocking the door, she let them in, Harry first. After he entered, Hermione turned and locked it behind them and flipped on the light. She was glad nothing found them, nothing evil. She slipped her coat off and hung it up. Harry followed suit. "I guess we better get to bed." She said to him. "I may stay up and have some tea first, to warm up. You're welcome to join me but don't feel like you have to." Hermione said and headed into the kitchen to get the water boiling. She leaned against the counter and watched the kettle. The fire was up high enough so it wouldn't be too long until it came to a boil. Hermione was tired but she kept thinking back to being in the park with Harry and that made her wide awake. How on earth could she sleep? Tea had to be the answer.
