Maria emerged from her nightmare, eyes Sapping open and she screamed Hugo name as she sat bolt upright. her world had color and sound she wasn't dead but what about Hugo... she thought looking around frantically scanning to room for a familer Sound. 
"Caw Hugo landed on her knee and she look revealed for a second before she became aware her companions. she shot up and back assisted the wall assessing her surrounding Hugo was circling the perimeter.

"Smash" she herd the sound of shattering glass and for one moment she panicked thinking the world would crash and burn around her. but to her surprise and annoyance it was the orb that they came here to retrieve in the first place. 
"the hell" she said as a missed rose from the orbs shattered remains. it solidified into a human form and attacked the man in front of it.
then the room erupted as Jurano Attacked.
Maria dashed forward and cartwheeled onto her hands going to kick it in the face but she was bashed away and hit the wall. the pedestal that once held the orb came flying towards her.
the was no time to duck, no time to doge. Hugo shreaked and swooped for her. but "Crash" the pedestal had crashed into a tightly woven net of thrones that grew from Maria arms that shealded her face. she jumper over shards of splintered wood and dashed at the thing again ready for more, her daggers ready.
