Natalie stood up. The initial emotional shock, the trigger of seeing a mutilated corpse was subsiding, and it was being replaced by Natalie's sharp survival instincts. As she listened in on the Amelia's story, she realized that there was a malicious killer on this station with them, hiding in the shadows. Natalie didn't believe this body was a message for Amelia. She, nor any of the group, would had found it had Archie not gone into the forest to pick apology flowers. No, it had been disposed. It may have wound up in this river by accident. It may have been stored for a week and then put here for anybody to find.

Natalie took her new phone out of her pocket and pressed the Cara app. She lifted it to her mouth and spoke, quietly as if Lynn heard her, Natalie got the feeling she'd want to hush this up, and that would just cause suspicion. None of them had done anything wrong. And Natalie was not used to having the advantage of [i]not[/i] being the guilty party so she was sure going to make the most of it. They had ways to test for this stuff, and even if the group were suspected, Archie clearly hadn't transformed so given the body's injuries, Natalie would be the only suspect. The others had nothing to worry about.

[color=silver]"Cara? It's Natalie. There's a dead body in the river at the edge of the forest. Uhh. Is that not specific enough? Can you trace my phone?"[/color]

[i]"Your phone has been traced and Security and Medical staff are both on route to your location. Thank you for bringing this to my attention."[/i]

Natalie put her phone back in her pocket and returned to the group. She figured she should let them know, lest Lynn think she's a snitch, or...whatever Lynn would think.

[color=silver]"Guys, I let Cara know about this, but didn't tell her there was a group of us. If anybody wants to leave, I suggest you do it now and carry on talking somewhere else. I'm gonna stay here. To be honest, my advice is we all stay and wait for staff but I thought you should make your own minds up."[/color]
