I suspect he just doesn't really care if how he acts rubs his comrades the wrong way. His personality is almost like a ying-yang concept in way. Sometimes he's a very nasty person with temper issues but at the same time, he's a competent leader who can be charismatic if he really wants to. which is quite a contrast I would imagine xD As a former General. He was always looking out for his soldiers well being, and despite his rough appearance and attitude. His men knew he was always looking out for them. With his new team, that probably isn't translating well to the others. Plus he's now an equal member with them instead of being their superior like he has always been accustom to. Which could also prove difficult as Saul isn't the best of a team player.
