Meredith listened carefully to the speech about dynamaxing. So basically Glaceon would be able to dynamax but probably not gigantamax. Not that it bothered her. 

The goodbyes of Magnezone had gotten Marilyn more quiet than usual. She wasn't sure what to think of Marlon's reaction. The way he handled it rather well made her think that the guy had been through a lot in the past and therefor knew how to deal with difficult situations. It only made him even more interesting. She giggled just a little when Sonia was interrupted. 

The sight of the Zigzagoon tackling his new trainer made her cringe just a little. "Talk about a mood." she commented softly. 

When asked about a Scorbuny, Marilyn shook her head. "Sugar, if I was going to ask for a Galar starter, it would definitely have been a Sobble. But I think I'm good with Glaceon for now. Surely we will meet many new pokemon along the way so there will be lots of opportunities to catch one."

Inspecting her updated Rotom-phone, she read the map out loud. "The gym challenge opening event is in Motostoke. There should be a train going there from the station nearby. Are you boys ready to roll?"

Despite her flirting with Marlon, she also liked to be around Cedric. The Lucario trainer made her feel comfortable, almost like a brother would. The three of them would have great adventures, she could tell.
