A part of Irina wished she was more like her sleepyhead cousin, but alas, given today was New Year's Day, there was still things to do and places to see. In fact, Irina had been meaning to visit the village newcomer mainly to introduce herself since they would certainly see each other rather often in the coming days. They were why Irina had been busy toiling away in the kitchen, baking one of her grandmother's famous pies so that whoever this newcomer was, they wouldn't arrive to the picnic empty handed, provided that Eugene hadn't informed them of the event. If he had, then, a pie was always a perfect welcoming gift, too. Knocking on the door to the household, Irina took a step back and waited for a response. She hoped her early morning visit wasn't much of a bother, but by the time it took to cook and the walk here, it was likely that they were already up and listening to whatever wacky message Eugene had left for everyone this time. Even someone like Irina was at a loss as to how someone could be so energetic and chipper so early in the morning. "Hello? Anyone home?" Irina called out, idly waiting. "My name is Irina; Eugene might've told you about me. I figured that since we'll probably be seeing each other a lot, I should stop by and introduce myself. I have pie, too!"

[sub][@Ladypug][/sub]
