Have you ever looked up at the night sky and longed for more? Why settle for one planet when there's many more to explore? Space may very well be the final frontier, but it's a frontier filled with endless potential for life and well death. Many species with many stories reside in the great endless expanses of space.

Yet this is no time of peace, at least not here in the dark heart of the universe, the Abyss is home to many planets, many of them warring with each other, many of them struggling to stay afloat. Many a faction vying for power, many a criminal underground lurking in the darkness, that would stab you in the gut for a quick Eon or two. The Abyss is home to many things, most of them are hardly pleasant, it's hard to survive much less thrive in places like these, but it's home and we've no other choice but to make due with what we've been given.

Voze was sitting on a tall apartment complex building on the planet cityscape of Lundo, his helmet concealing his face. He was visibly shaken as he heard the rush of loud droning sirens and flashing lights whizz right past him. He had escaped by an inch, out of all the close calls he'd had in his days, this was one of the closest. Voze tapped his side making sure his pistol was still fastened to his side and looked over the building's edge, making sure the sirens were well past him at this point. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a shiny cyan like gem, studying it.

"I've not a clue what this thing is but it'd better gnab me a pretty Eon, for all the trouble it's caused." He muttered, sitting there on the rooftop for some time, just so he could be sure he'd gotten away with it. Voze also pulled out a small canteen, chugging away his thirst after what was the chase of his lifetime, or so far that was.

Gator checked the hologram on his wrist communicator. Another thief. Gator was a mercenary. One that was good enough to get a galactic pardon after an incident where he saved a Senator on Vyria YL3. Now he was offered jobs to assist local law enforcement. A development that put him at odds with some of his friends who still prefered to work for the various criminal enterprises around the galaxy, but Gator assured he was only working for the highest bidder, and right now, the government were paying a pretty penny to keep order on some of these outer worlds.

Walking over to an atmospheric shuttle being used by law enforcement, he held up his wrist communicator and flashed his credentials. The officers stood aside to show Gator the data they had acquired. "What's an Efferus, like you doing out this way, Bounty Hunter?" An officer asked, his voice snide and condescending. Gator just smirked. "I was on vacation, but decided to help you boys out." Gator knew better than to antagonise Law Enforcement. "Anyway, I want a lift to this roof." He pointed at a building on the holo-map. "And what makes you think he's there? We already checked there," The other officer remarked. Gator shook his head. "I know. I don't think he's there-" He gestured to the slightly shorter building next to it. "- He's there, but landing a shuttle on that building will spook him." A troubled sigh. "You see, your not coming up with anything new spreading out, and the orbital platform didn't pick up any shuttles, so you should focus in. The only building without a full rooftop scan is that one there, so we can deduce that's where he is." A few grumbles from the two officers, as they readied the transport to take Gator to his desired building.

Landing on the building, Gator exited the craft and walked over to the edge. Looking down, he could see his prey sitting there. Gator leapt from his building and landed with a loud thud behind his prey. "Voze. I'm here to take you in or offer you a deal. You give me half from what you make selling that, and I'll leave an opening for your escape when I hand you over to the authorities."

Voze was tired of all this waiting and he was just about to leave as soon as he caught his breath, only a couple more minutes now and he'd start running for it. He just wanted to make sure the area was clear of all those police bots flying about, they were crafty things sending those out, but Voze thought it easy to outwit low life police A.I. However he didn't wanna run into any of there scanners or they'd come down on him in a split second, so he waited, just a little longer. After all it never hurt to be a little safe did it? Little did he know how wrong he he was.

Spotting the craft land on the building adjacent, Voze was planning on making a quick slip, but it was much too late as about five seconds later he spotted Gator hop right down infront of him. If you could see his face through his helmet visor, you'd see a clear frown, knowing he was in a heap of trouble. Then he heard his offer, Take me in or take half of my earnings? Who does he think he is? Voze thought his head tilting towards Gator. Voze scanned the area around, desperate to find any way around the situation at hand, half wasn't much to him, but he owed money, lot's of money to someone much scarier then the man in front of him. Yet, space prison would set him back all the way, and the prisons around these parts were nowhere Voze wanted to set foot in.

"You see that offer is a tempting one... and I'd be happy to take you up on it, yet... there's one problem, I need the Eon's, it's not for myself, let's just say it's for someone who'd have you and me both gutted before we could blink." Voze exclaimed, eyeing Gator through his black helmet visor.

"The situation I am in, it's one that's bigger then me and you, or any of the local idiot brigade that your working for, so I'd be happy if you let this one slide..."

“I don’t just let things slide, unless there’s profit in it.” Gator said in a gruff tone. “So, unless you got something else you could offer me. I’m afraid I’m gonna have to talk you in.” His eyes darted around, sighting the drone transports beginning to circle the building. “I’d say about forty eight seconds before your chance of escape becomes zero. So I’ll give you the same advice my father gave me. ‘Act Fast, think faster.’”
