[indent] Kiyoshi stands at a deceiving-height of 4'11". Deceiving is a fine, descriptor for the youth overall. In his juvenile eyes lurks a terrible hunger, one that darkens the cobalt blue spheres on his cherub face. A deep white scar runs from the right corner of his mouth to his right ear. His peach hair, thorny and thick, falls down below his shoulders and is parted on the right side. He values little but his appearance tends to provoke emotions regardless of the intent behind it.

[indent] Kiyoshi festers an unhealthy obsession with strength and recognition. The dynamics of his family bringing about and fueling his undesirable disposition. An unpleasant youth, he's entirely arrogant and short-tempered with most people. Like most ninja born into the Hyuuga Clan he was brought up with an immense amount of pride, however growing up subservient to the Main Branch also instilled a hunger in the boy. One that sets aside what a youth might consider normal; friendship and hobbies. Above all else though, Kiyoshi has a ferocious desire for recognition, one that spawns from a fragile ego.

[sub][color=#900C3F][b]Personal History[/b][/color][/sub]
[indent]Kiyoshi Hyuuga was born to Isaribi Hyuuga as the illegitimate child to the clan head. Known but barely acknowledge he lived a rather frustrating existence knowing, all at once, what could be and what was. The truth, that he would hardly amount to anything, despite the "mighty" blood flowing in his veins infuriated him. His mother was insistent that he be prideful of his heritage, never meek because of the [i]circumstances[/i] of his birth. Side Branch members were indifferent, straddling the line of ignorance. It was the Main Branch members that despised his existence. Whether they were under the influence of the clan Leader or not was irrelevant. Kiyoshi Hyuuga had felt the need for recognition deeply.
 
Most of his life repeated a mind-numbing, aggravating sequence. He strove for recognition from the one man who sought only to ignore his existence. In doing this he found a place to spy on the children of the Main Branch training. In all his months, he was so proficient with his Byakugan that none ever discovered his shadow practices. He learned the nuance training of the Gentle Fist through observing the Main Branch, techniques that took them months to master, had taken him little-more than a week.

Later he learned that he was likewise being observed by his soon-to-be mentor, Hanzo Hyuuga. A friend of his father, Hanzo held a personal stake in Kiyoshi's development. So he began to point out his mistakes and strengths. The positioning of his fingers, the horrible habit of tensing before striking, the flow of chakra upon impact. He would constantly state, "Gentle, Kiyoshi...gentle." Without Hanzo's instruction, Kiyoshi would have held on to flawed sequences and never known his greatness gift; the clarity of his sight. His Byakugan was considered by many to be phenomenal. Hanzo stated several times that his Byakugan was powerful, couple that with the quiet nuance of his chakra and it was difficult to pinpoint a definitive end for his growth. 

Upon entering the Academy it was quickly established that Hanzo wasn't the only one to hold that belief. Truth was, Kiyoshi believed the stigma of his birth didn't exist outside the clan. For him the Academy was a clean slate, a path ahead in both the Hyuuga clan and the shinobi world and [i]that[/i] realization spurred his ambition. He sought strength and knowledge, putting aside any need for attachments. Not that he didn't want them, the feelings just never reached the surface. So he trudged through the Academy with what he had known, a concoction of resentment, anger, and ill-deserved hubris.

[sub][color=#900C3F][b]Character Development & Conceptualization[/b][/color][/sub]
[indent] Kiyoshi was the reincarnation of a original character I made for the RP. It just so happen that the strictness of the original clan I made coincided with the Hyuuga Clan. From there it was just a matter of straightening out a couple of discrepancies. From his clan name-- to mowing down and correcting the relationship between the known Hyuuga Clan and the fictitious that I made up. At his core Kiyoshi is fragile, though his wants and his driving ambitions masks it. Eventually I'm hoping to uncover the truth of his birth and have his emotional turmoil provide some interesting development within himself and the other players.   

[/indent][/color][h3]Attributes[/h3][hr][color=878787][sub][color=#900C3F][b]Character Focus & Skillset[/b][/color][/sub]
[indent][color=white][b]Byakugan:[/b][/color] Noted to be particularly powerful, Kiyoshi first awakened his Byakugan at the age of two. His mother often said that nothing he wanted was ever hidden from him. By the time he completed his training with Hanzo, he was capable of seeing targets forty meters away. Honed through specialized training with Hanzo, his Byakugan has been compared by many to the elites of the Hyuuga clan. With his Byakugan activated, Kiyoshi has a near 360° penetrative field of vision. It allows him to see the chakra-pathways and their respective tenketsu. 

[color=white][b]Gentle Fist:[/b][/color] Through his training with Hanzo and his own natural gifts, Kiyoshi became a rather prodigious user of the Gentle Fist. His accuracy belies his actual lack-of-control when it comes to his application of chakra during impact. Still, his speed and reflexes are exceptional even for a member of the Hyuuga clan. His one weakness within the Gentle Fist art is his lack of chakra control, which often undermines the intent of his strikes.  

[color=white][b]Chakra & Physical Prowess:[/b][/color] In concerns to his physicality, Kiyoshi still has plenty of room to grow. His strength is less-than average though his reflexes, agility, and flexibility tends to compensate for this. Few things are more evident than the scrawny figure he makes within the folds of his robe. The skill at which he employs his chakra is also lacking. His control is both evident in his ability to use the Gentle Fist and disconcerting due to both the destructive and counteractive results of his strikes.
