[@EurmalEye] Don't forget Manta. With all of his intelligence and psychic power he could easily create items from his psychic abilities to increase Leval's mind capacity and intelligence. Manta can also do a Mind Link allowing Leval to access some of Manta's intelligence and power (Assuming he befriends Manta) Then with his power over water he can grant Leval a water charm giving his illusions and his mana water properties/powers which is better than any gem since Manta is a water being/guardian.
