Kate pushed the throttle to the stops and headed towards the battle at full speed. Once she judged the range about right, she engaged the ECM pod on the belly of her aircraft, cutting off the enemy radar and communications.

"Meteor is jamming, music is live. Engaging bandit, Fox Three."

She fired one of her four long range missiles at a Flanker. With the jamming they might not even notice the launch right away, if at all. Closer in to the combat now, she found a new target and dove down from above, firing a pair of SDMs at the MiG before breaking off and gaining altitude again.

"Meteor to Rim Light, do we have an ETA and a bearing on the bombers?"
