The Kingdom of Attilan - the Moon: February 14th, 2021 - 10:00 A.M.

The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. never know a day's peace.

The mission brief given to the Secret Warriors that morning was of global, if not universal importance. Three days ago, mutants across the globe started displaying odd symptoms. Hives covered their bodies, their powers began to fail them, rashes marred their skin, and a piercing headache refused to go away no matter how much medicine was administered. While scientists across the globe desperately search for a cure, the media has dubbed this new plague M-Pox.

Anti-mutant newscasters such as Benedict Ryan have been calling for the movement of mutants into controlled quarantine camps, worrying that M-Pox may mutate and be transmitted to humans. The most famous group of mutants, the X-Men, has not been immune either. Bloom, Prophesy, Spirit, Spectrum, and Mystery have all come down with the mysterious disease.

Famed geneticist Dr. Moira MacTaggert, a close friend of Professor Charles Xavier, discovered an explanation for M-Pox early this morning at her facility on Muir Island. The atmosphere was flooded with terrigen mists, the substance responsible for the initial activation of inhuman powers. She realized this as people across the globe have been going into what appear to be cocoons, only to emerge with new powers and abilities. Somehow, this substance is toxic to mutants, likely reacting to their X-gene, and may prove fatal in time. No nations have reported mutant casualties yet, though violence against mutants has increased exponentially. S.H.I.E.L.D. managed to trace the origin of these terrigen mists to the Kingdom of Attilan, home of the inhuman royal family.

Director Maria Hill has tasked the Secret Warriors with this grave mission. While Hill hopes that the royal family can be reasoned with and that this can be settled without violence, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s duty is to the people of the Earth... not the inhuman civilization on the Moon.

Bonnie Chase and Raynor Blake

Location: Quinjet
Skills: Small Aircraft Piloting, Trivia Knowledge

Seated in the quinjet, Bonnie's breath was taken away with the beauty of the place. She could see Earth from one of the windows. "Where else are we gonna get a view like this?" she whispered, smiling slightly. It was the silver lining to this awful situation. She didn't even want to think about the odds of them finding a cure before the disease killed her best friend. She didn't want to comprehend her boyfriend getting sick as well. For that one moment, Bonnie allowed herself to live, to be something other than a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. She gave Flynn's hand a slight squeeze.

"This isn't even really space," Raynor criticized. He was piloting the quinjet, given that he was the only agent to have gone to space before and he had decent piloting skills with craft of this size. He was pushing a series of buttons and switches, slowly beginning the descent of the quinjet onto the lunar surface. The coordinates he had been given indicated that there should have been a city there, but he couldn't see anything. "You haven't even really left Earth, Chase."

"Whatever, Blake. Not like I was seeking your approval," Bonnie said, rolling her eyes. "...Where's Attilan?" Bonnie asked, a bit skeptical of the Asgardian's piloting skills. They were going lower and lower, but there wasn't even the slightest indication that there was a secret kingdom here. It just looked like the uninhabited surface of the moon, filled with craters from years of taking hits from asteroids.

"Wait for it..." Raynor muttered. A few seconds later, the quinjet passed through what looked like the film of a soap bubble. When they emerged on the other side, suddenly they could see Attilan. The inhuman city was protected by a special dome, one that provided both cloaking but also enclosed an artificial atmosphere. "Welcome to Attilan, folks," Raynor said, before he frowned as he spotted large heaps of rubble across the city. It looked as if someone had set off a series of bombs, destroying homes and businesses and shops. Even the palace had crumbled in some places, black smoke visibly coming off of it.

"What happened here?" Bonnie murmured, trying to make sense of this. Hill had told them that this had been where the terrigen bomb had come from, so why did this place look so war torn and shattered?

"...I'll find a place to put her down."

Cassandra Reed

Location: Quinjet,
Skills: N/A

Cass more or less had been feeling really bad for the last three days, at the time she just assumed that it was just a normal cold which she would have gotten over rather quickly. When she did get checked it however it was something much worse now, even getting a call from Carolina that she had fallen ill as well which was something she didn't want to know at all either. So far she was the only one on the team to become sick with the M-Pox which was good for now at least none of the other members were sick. She of course didn't want to sit around in medical while sitting in quarantine and do nothing back in the Hub either. For whatever reason the inhuman royal family did it had made it personal for her as well, and wanted to find out why.

Cassandra looked down at her forearm a little bit seeing some hives had formed along her arm, she quickly went to cover it up rather quickly as well. She slowly got up from her seat making her way over towards the cockpit, seeing the inhuman kingdom appear before them, surprised that they even had a place up here in the first place. She was feeling a little bit dizzy as she rubbed the back of her neck slightly, but noticed all of the destruction. "Maybe some people didn't like what they had done and started a little civil war or something?" Cassandra suggested.

Maria Novikova

Location: Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Maria sat in the middle of the Quinjet while fiddling with her bow a little bit doing some adjustments and tightening the bowstring somewhat, she would occasionally look back at Cassandra. She knew that she wasn't feeling well at the moment, having contracted the X-Pox that was going around the world right now. She had called her wife a few days ago to check in on her, as far as she knew Novikova hadn't become ill either. When they were told that they all were going to space that was actually really interesting and going to the moon as well, which should be an exciting mission.

Her eyes went up to one of the windows seeing the Earth in the distance as well, to find out there was a completely different civilization on the Moon this entire time. She could see the lunar surface as well coming in close now as well, before it completely shifted before them seeing Atilian in the distance. Maria could see some destruction on the ground which made her start to wonder what was going on exactly as well.

Sparky wasn't all too sure of what to think regarding the fact that they were going to some random unknown hidden city on the moon. She was fidgeting slightly, messing with the ring on her hand slightly as she glanced outside to see where exactly they were going. There was a bit of laughter in the back of her mind, as she saw that Goose had taken to a spot up on the dashboard by where Raynor was flying the Quinjet. It was amusing, the fact that they were taking a cat up with them to space, and she had no idea why though, but Goose seemed comfortable in his spot sleeping. Almost like the cat was at home in space.

The fact that they were going to space was still a little strange to her, but she was willing to just roll with it. This was a problem that couldn't wait be avoided, especially considering how many lives were at stake. One of their team members already had fallen ill with the disease that was effecting mutants across the globe, and she hoped they would find a solution to it soon. Sparky didn't even really care about the fact that she could get sick and maybe die, all that mattered to her was trying to save everyone else.

"It definitely is different then being on the ground on Earth that's for sure," Flynn said with a slight smile towards Bonnie as he glanced out the window. It was more then a bit weird, being in space, and if he had been told when he was in high school that he'd be going to space he would have told that person that they were insane. This sort of thing seemed fairly strange to him, and who knew that there was a secret city or whatever on the moon? It was more then a bit strange to him.

"Might I point out Raynor, you I think are the only one whose really been to space, so cut us a little slack why don't you?" he commented towards the Asgardian, rolling his eyes slightly, somewhat annoyed by Raynor's comment towards Bonnie. When he saw them go through the barrier or whatever and saw the city, he was amazed somewhat at the city, but more of somewhat concerned that it was partially destroyed. That definitely was more then a little bit strange, especially if this is where the bomb came from.

"...If there was a war, I would think it would still be going, a civil war or unrest wouldn't be over with in a few hours one would hope. So wouldn't they still obviously be fighting?" Sparky commented in response to Cassandra suggesting a civil war among the inhumans.

Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: The Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Tinley had been prepped for the mission and had gone over it again and again in her head. The team was ready and they knew the stakes. Tinley took a cursory glance towards Cassandra, aware that time was of the essence not only for her but for every other mutant. She stung with guilt. Being inhuman allowed her some safety, though not much. It was what gave her her powers. They had to succeed here or who knows what would be at stake.

Tempest had done her due diligence by checking their tech before they made their way to the fricken' moon. The fact anything lived here should not have been baffling considering she worked with a group of people with superpowers saving the world every week, but still. The moon! She was psyched, though she kept it in check. In fact, her mind was racing over the fact that her and Oliver had done what they could to check on the Skrull threat. Tinley had been...less than psyched.

Tinley glanced at the Earth, sharing Bonnie's feelings. It was a beautiful sight that not everyone got to see. But they had a mission and the fact that Attilan appeared to have been bombed, it didn't bode well. "We have our mission and that does not change, but I do not like this. It looks like a bomb hit. Be on your guard then. The royal family is our priority and I have a feeling they may know more about this."

Tempest glanced over, "What's the game plan? Appeal to their senses? Threaten destruction? Little of both?" She tried for levity, though she could feel it was not the best time. "We are here on a peaceful mission so I do not want threats unleashed unless stated otherwise. I do not know what to expect from here and that irks me." She didn't need to say it, but it surely was felt. They also needed to protect themselves from illness. That meant Cassandra needed to be watched.

Oli never much minded flying, but this was something else. They were going to space, and his little nerd heart was flipping out over it. People dreamed of this, and now he got to actually do it! Looking at Earth from the stars above, he grinned, taking in the view for what it was. The problem of M-pox worried him, as did the looming threat of Skrull invasion, but for now? He was enjoying the moment. His eyes were glued to the windows, taking full advantage of the lack of atmosphere around him, giving him a rare unobscured glance at the stars in the sky.

That was, of course, until they made their way into the protective bubble around Attilan. At first, he was looking forward to seeing the city sheltered away on the moon, but upon seeing the carnage, his face fell. "I'll try to signal to the ground, hang tight." He said, and cracked into his laptop, scanning for any kind of comm signals he could find. Alas, there was nothing, which worried him, "Radio silence, either nobody's down there to broadcast a signal, or Attilan uses different communication protocols than on Earth. Let's hope for the latter." That wasn't an unreasonable idea to him, but with the bombed wreckage beneath him, it felt like the less likely if the two options.

Matt was trying to seem like he was stoic as the flew to the moon. He hoped he would never take something like this for granted like Raynor was. Part of the reason he had left civilian life was the desire to see new things and here they were looking at something no one else on earth, to his knowledge, had ever seen.

Matt did give a concerned glance to Cass. He felt a friendship was developing with her since the movies. But he felt it wouldn't have mattered who on the team was sick. They were his team now. He nodded at Tinley's instructions.

Matt was amazed as well that he was going to meet what equated to his ancestors. Biting back that nervousness that came from that idea he stood. "Even as a Brit I never paid much to the royal family. Hope these guys don't decide I need to declare loyalty to them just cause I'm some distant cousin."

The Kingdom of Attilan - the Moon: February 14th, 2021 - 10:10 A.M.

Bonnie Chase and Raynor Blake

Location: Quinjet
Skills: Small Aircraft Piloting, Biochemistry, Intuition

"Maybe," Raynor murmured, turning his head for a brief moment to look at Cass. He didn't think it was a great idea to bring her or any of their mutant friends along on this mission. They had special suits and masks prepared for all of them, in order to minimize any further exposure to the Mists. Only the mutant and inhuman members needed to wear the masks - it was harmless to humans and Asgardians. "I'll try using universal standard," Raynor announced. He didn't know if they used the same sort of morse code in this universe, but they had in his home world so it was worth a shot.

It was pretty similar to morse code - Raynor flashed a message out with the search light his vessel was equipped with. He frowned, scanning the skies for any response but there was nothing. He repeated the message and again, there was nothing. "No response. Abercrombie, think you're going to be more than just a little bit irked," he added with an eye roll.

Bonnie carefully got up, going over to one of the monitors in order to get an atmospheric readout. "Atmospheric levels are showing high concentrations of the terrigen mists, yet otherwise are normal," she reported. She wasn't a mutant or an inhuman, so there wasn't a risk to her health (that she knew of) from breathing in the mists. But for the rest of the team, they'd need to put those masks on. "...I think they were attacked, maybe. The terrigen mists give powers to inhumans, so... What better way to beat back an invading force than powering up your entire populace?" she proposed.

She didn't like the implication that left though - since the terrigen mists had been released into the Earth's atmosphere. Were they going to face some sort of threat as well, the same kind that had been able to decimate Attilan?

"Yeah, well, I'm landing now - so you might want to sit your ass down," Raynor told Bonnie, a bit of an edge in his voice. The two of them weren't close friends. Bonnie rolled her eyes slightly, before taking her seat next to Flynn again.

"Does he get off on being a perpetual jackass?" she muttered to him. The entire quinjet began to shake violently and it suddenly dropped about twenty feet, before Raynor managed to regain control of the craft. A tornado of sorts seemed to have kicked up on the ground and it was heading right towards them, like it was alive. Bonnie white knuckled her seat, fearing for her life as Raynor put the emergency in emergency landing.

Raynor's forceful and rapid descent to the ground was so fast and sudden that for a moment, it was like they were experiencing no gravity at all. Everyone with long hair would be able to see it practically standing upwards. And when the quinjet smacked down to the ground in front of the rubble of the palace, Goose went flying upwards and the poor kitty struck the ceiling of the jet. Bonnie wanted to puke, looking incredibly green.

"Everyone okay?" Raynor asked tentatively. The tornado outside dissipated, revealing a young woman and a dog.

Cassandra looked around at some of the others, getting the feeling that they were all doing that out of worry for her closing her eyes for a moment. Right now she did feel really crappy, her head felt like it was going to explode, and every part of her body ached a little bit she should be getting bedrest but right now she was more concerned with all of the mutants back on Earth. She looked at everyone on the Quinjet letting out a slight sigh.

"Listen everyone i'll be fine I will keep going on with the mission until I cant physically anymore. So please try and not to worry to much.." Cassandra said, still with what was going on down there didn't bode well at all. Cassandra looked at Tempest for a moment and smiled a little bit trying to lighten the mood a bit. "We should try diplomacy first before bringing in the big guns." Cassandra said, since she had been learning it some recently and hoped it would come in handy during a mission at some point.

Cass heard Bonnie giving a little readout on what the air was like down groundside, the mists were on the ground as well which wasnt good for her really. Cassandra felt the Quinjet shake before making her way over towards her seat again and sat down rather quickly. As Raynor made for an emergency landing. She wasn't going to risk further exposure and quickly went to get herself into one of the suits as well as putting on the mask. "Yeah i'm fine." Cassandra said making sure that her suit was sealed up tightly.

Once Bonnie gave the readouts on the terrigen mists in the air around Atilian Maria had quickly gotten herself sealed up as quickly as she could as well. She didn't want to become exposed like Cassandra was, and she didn't want Novi to worry about her either and just hoped that everyone was alright back home as well. Maria strapped herself in once she felt the Quinjet starting to drop somewhat as well looking over at Raynor until they landed.

Maria sighed a little bit and rested her back up against the seat a little bit glad that they didn't end up crashing badly, when she got up and looked out the window. Seeing the tornado disappearing to reveal a young girl and a rather huge and massive dog next to her, which was a really weird sight to see. "So is that like an inhuman dog, or something?" Maria asked, she wasn't sure if the dog was normal or some kind of alien seeing Goose there as well, which would be interesting to see while looking over at Tinley for orders.

Sparky more or less was just waiting for them to land already, considering that there wasn't anything that they could do while in the air. Tinley was drilling into everyone's brains that this was a diplomatic mission, which was a bit obvious, but she figured that some people in the group wouldn't remember that and would go in guns blazing first in order to more or less try and force the Inhumans to fix what they did to the atmosphere. They had to know that there were going to be repercussions for that sort of thing.

"Honestly Bonnie, seems like he does doesn't it?" Flynn said with a bit of a laugh to her when she came to sit back down next to him. This was an interesting place to say the least, but considering the fact that the city looked like it was in the middle of a war zone didn't exactly strike confidence in everything. However he nodded his head in agreement with her about why they might have done it, "...Yeah, but there are a lot of people who can't deal with the terrigen mists on Earth... So a lot of people are probably going to die from that anyway..."

Then there was what appeared to be almost like a tornado, and Sparky held onto her seat for the most part as the Quinjet started to go down to the ground. She was used to flying, and partially with crash landings considering how many times she fell to the ground when actually learning how to fly, but she didn't expect a crash landing to happen from a tornado on the Moon! She was a little dizzy from the crash landing, and just shook her head, looking over at Raynor. "What the hell was that?"

Goose just so happened to have the worst of landings, as he hit the dashboard from the tornado landing. Flynn was used to these sorts of things, so he more or less just leaned back and relaxed from the crash landing. Once they were on the ground, there was the sound of scurrying paws as Goose hopped up onto Bonnie's lap and looked a little freaked out from that. His claws thankfully weren't out, so he wasn't clawing Bonnie's leg or anything. "Alright, could have definitely had a better landing... And who the hell is that?" Flynn said, as he looked out to see the woman and dog that was there.

Oliver grasped the edge of his seat, trying to stay seated and safe. Never a dull moment, it seemed. He kept his eyes forced shut, trying to keep himself from hurling from the g-forces he was experiencing. As the plane slowed down and landed safely, he composed himself and straightened out. As he figured out what the hell was going on, he ran through some of the possible scenarios. If the people had decided to flood the atmosphere with terrigen, there had to be a serious threat to them. He couldn't have any idea about what kind of invading force would require turning your population into powered individuals. They were coming to fight something scary, if there was a threat here.

Standing up, Oliver made his way to the Quinjet doors, and pushed a button to open the doors, intending to go and talk to the couple. "Let's see what all this is-" He started to say, stepping off the jet, as a wave a nausea overcame him and stopped him dead in his tracks. Something felt wrong. Really really wrong. "Guys, I don't feel so good." He started to say, as a cocoon started to wrap around his body. While the it began to cover his head, a look of panic crossed his face, "H-help me! Somebody hel-" He started to cry out, as the cocoon covered his mouth, covering him totally.

The Kingdom of Attilan - the Moon: February 14th, 2021 - 10:20 A.M.

Bonnie Chase and Raynor Blake

Location: Quinjet -> Outside the Palace
Skills: Biochemistry

"Shockingly, hearing you say that only makes me more worried," Bonnie pointed out to Cassandra. She wanted her best friend to stick around, to be there for the long haul. She wanted to eventually end up in the same nursing home as her, complaining about the other residents and their poor hygiene. Who else was going to stay up all night with her to watch the Nobel Prize ceremony? Or gamble on the outcome of the Bachelorette?

She peered at the dog for a moment. It had oddly glowing antenna from what she could tell. And the girl looked familiar, as if she had seen her in a file before somewhere but Bonnie couldn't quite place it. "I suppose there could be inhuman animals... There's so much about inhuman genetics that we just don't understand." Now where had she seen that girl before? There was barely any information about Attilan in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files and there was even less about the Royal Family itself - not for a lack of trying.

"That is one pissed off inhuman," Raynor muttered, grabbing the suit and mask combo before handing it over to Sparky. They weren't going to kick off into the atmosphere any time soon. And so far, the diplomatic mission was going horribly - which was about what he expected. "Don't run out the door without this on, you're too cute for M-Pox," he teased her, even though he was deadly serious. Cassandra was already infected. They didn't need more teammates in peril. He also hoped that the suit might protect Sparky a little bit from the Weather Witch.

Bonnie jumped slightly as Goose bounded into her lap, before scratching the cat behind the ears. "Goose, diplomacy first, tentacles second," she whispered to the cat.

"Sullivan - what the hell?!" Raynor exclaimed, his eyes wide as Oliver depressurized the door and opened it, allowing the terrigen mists to flow into the quinjet. Hopefully all of the inhuman and mutant members were in the suits, otherwise they'd have M-Pox and the potentially deadly secondary terrigenesis to handle. He held out his hand and his dagger, Lyting, flew into it before Raynor rushed off of the quinjet.

"Stay back," the girl warned Raynor. "You can't disturb him." The dog growled at Raynor, as the Asgardian was about to try to carve Oliver out of the cocoon.

"...Fine," he replied curtly. The girl was clearly inhuman and seemingly unaffected by the mists - perhaps she had already gone through all the rounds of terrigenesis she was capable of? "Who the hell are you?"

"I should be asking you the same question, flatscan," the girl sniffed. "I am Princess Crystalia Amaquelin of Attilan. You had better explain yourself."

Raynor huffed slightly. "I'm not a flatscan. I'm Raynor, Baldur's son, grandson of Odin."

Crystal raised an eyebrow. "I don't care who you are. I care why you've come to our kingdom."

Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: The Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Tinley ignored Raynor's jackass tendencies as he piloted their ship down. What she hadn't expected (to add to the many things going wrong so far) was a tornado to blow them off course. She braced for impact along with the others. "A tornado on top of all of this. Anything else want to go wrong?" she asked no one in particular, but Raynor handled it like a pro. Or close to one. Both she and Tempest saw their hair almost stand on end before they smacked to the ground.

Tinley stood up immediately. "Apart from being annoyed, I am ok. Is everyone else all right? Tempest, can you tend to any injured?" Tempest nodded and stood up shakily. "I think everyone is ok, though it looks like Goose got quite the rude awakening." Tinley hid her smirk but turned to face the window where she saw the woman and the dog. Either way, they landed and should get out. "Suits on everyone." Tinley and Tempest made their way to the side to suit up. Tempest was a bit distracted but got her things on. She could have sworn she saw the woman somewhere before.

Tinley had just finished when Oliver meandered his way over to the door and clicked the button. "Oliver do-..!" but it was too late as the mist flooded their ship and Oliver was wrapped up in it. She, too, went for him, before the woman instructed them to not touch him. This woman, Crystalia, was the princess here. Which means she was part of who they were here to meet. "My name is Tinley Abercrombie and I lead this team here from Earth. We are here because the terrigen mist has impacted our planet. Mutants are getting sick and Inhumans are going through terrigenesis, forming harmful, even deadly, malformations. We are here on a peaceful mission to gain as much knowledge as we can about it. But, first, I wish to help my team. What can be done to help him?" she referred to Oliver. She had also kept the second part of their mission secret. For now.

Cassandra looked over towards Bonnie, giving her friend a slight smile Bonnie was like a sister to her and could understand she was still worried about her. "Alright only you can worry about me." Cass said as she sat down looking over at Goose who ran over to her and climbed into her friend's lap. She of course didn't have any intention on dying from M-Pox, if that can even be helped and wanted to live through this mission, though Cass deep down didn't want Bonnie to be worried about her. She wanted to grow old one day and retire with her best friend if she could as well.

And then of course Oliver had the REALLY dumb idea to open up the hatch after Bonnie had given the readouts on the air situation in and around Atitlan, which was saturated with the terrigen mists as well. Cassandra quickly made sure that she was suited up, and made sure that there wasn't any kind of small hole or pocket that the mists could seep through. Cassandra didn't want to end up getting further exposure either. Oliver then started to go through terrigensis seeing the familiar cocoon that was forming around his body, she looked towards Bonnie with a concerned look before slowly getting up and making her way with Tinley towards the ramp of the Quinjet letting Tinley do all of the talking. "I'm Cassandra Reed, the second in command of the team. We simply wish to seek an audience with your king to find out what had happened here and back home, we know that the terrigen bomb had come from here." Cassandra said as she leaned against the side of the hatch, taking a deep breath.

Maria quickly made sure that she had sealed up her suit and mask as best as she could staring at Oliver. "Why the hell would you even do that when Bonnie clearly stated that the air has terrigen still floating around?" Maria said, as he got cocooned which she wasn't expecting to see happening to him, and hoped that he was alright. That and she wanted to punch the ever living crap out of him right now after opening the Quinjet hatch so hastily.

"Remind me to punch him if he gets out of there." Maria said, and her wife would probably be really pissed off at Oliver for potentially exposing her to the mists, which she is going to tell Novi what happened once they were back home. Maria gave Cassandra another worried look, she hoped that she would pull through all of this, she continued to eye Lockjaw never seeing the dog before she grew up with having dogs and cats as well, letting Reed and Abercrombie talk to the princess. "That's a really cool dog." Maria said, looking over at Crystal she just hoped that the woman wont attack them.

Matt had sat down quickly before the landing, and he was thankful for that. Once the quinjet was landed he started to put on his mask and suit but Sullivan was already opening the door. "Seriously! That air is deadly." He slapped on the rest of his protective suit. "I get the second punch, Maria." Matt was pissed.

Why had Oliver done such a thing? He knew the air was full of the mists. He knew that the mutant and inhuman members of the team were not safe around it. Even thinking Oliver was human and therefore safe from the mist that didn't make his actions okay because it put the rest of the team in danger.

It probably would have been a good idea to test to see if Oliver was human before sending him on this mission. Did they know for certain that everyone in the group was either Human or other? Like Bonnie, was she actually human? Was this how they were going to find out otherwise? He glanced at her just to make sure she wasn't cocooning too. How many other people living their lives thought they were normal humans but had been exposed to the mists on Earth? Matt remembered that feeling. He hadn't asked for it, his exposure had been an accident.

He sighed and then looked at the woman who identified herself as the Princess. He was happy to let the diplomatic parts of their team deal with talking with her. He had his gun in its holster, though he had no desire to use it he was ready.

As his teammates were reasonable upset with him, Oli's cocoons shuttered, and then cracked open, revealing, for a moment, oliver, and then in the next, just a blur. Running away from the shell that enclosed him, a shocked Oli was going fast, much faster than he ever could have considered running before. He had no idea what was going on, and he was surprised that he could move as fast as as he was right now. The world, slowed around him, as he looked back at the woman he'd initially gone to talk to. Turning back around on the spot, he rocketed back into the Quinjet, before stopping short, and slipping down against the internal wall of the ship. Panting, more from the exhilaration than any kind of exhaustion, he looked at the group that was very cross with him.

Standing up straight, and clearing his throat for a moment, "That was stupid of me, I'm sorry. I should be better than that." Opening the Air lock was beyond stupid of him, and looking back he didn't know what he was thinking. These last few weeks had left him sparse on sleep, between that and the generally high levels of stress, he supposed he understood that he could've done something like that, but he was ashamed of it. "I... still have no idea why that just happened though, if anybody has any theories they want to float." This was insane, literally too much for him to quite handle at the moment. Taking a breath, he looked to make sure his team wasn't hurt by his foolishness.

Theresa Sparks and Frederick Flynn

Location: The Quinjet
Skills: N/A

"I wasn't planning on getting M-Pox anytime soon," Sparky said with a bit of a small laugh towards Raynor, though she knew perfectly well that the dangers were real. M-Pox was a serious thing, and one member of their team was already infected with the disease, she wasn't planning on walking outside without the suit and mask. From what she knew, the disease could kill thousands of people, even though there weren't reports of anyone dying yet. She hoped that they'd find a way to stop it soon, before it got to that point.

Flynn meanwhile raised a bit of an eyebrow seeing Bonnie whisper to Goose about attacking later if diplomacy didn't work. As far as he was concerned, she had attacked them first, so he was perfectly fine if Goose wanted to start throwing Crystal around. He put on his suit and mask combo, knowing perfectly well what could happen if the mist hit him. That was definitely not something he wanted to deal with, and his eyes grew wide as he finished putting on the gear when Oliver opened the door. "What the? Are you serious with that?" he asked, before the guy got encased in a weird cocoon looking thing.

Sparky hadn't quite gotten her suit completely before Oliver threw open the door and let the Terrigen Mists come into the Quinjet. She didn't really know what to think about it though, as she instantly finished putting on the suit, but the damage from it was already done, as she noticed a few red welts appeared on her hands, but she put her hands behind her back to more or less hide them. Since for the moment, they had bigger things to deal with at the moment, so she wasn't going to mention the welts on her hands if she didn't have to right now.

When Oliver burst out of the cocoon, Flynn looked at him and wondered what the hell was going on? Then his mind remembered once again that Inhumans were a thing, and that Oliver likely was one. And then he ended up with one of the most annoying powers possible. He ignored Crystal for the moment as he walked over to the others. "...Doesn't the world already have enough idiotic speedsters to last a while? Since I personally do not think that we need anymore. Also, gonna warn you now if you couldn't hear anything while stuck in that thing, but there is a line to punch you at the moment," Flynn said, looking over at Oliver. Goose was currently snuggled up to Bonnie, but he was looking in the direction of the dog with what appeared to be mild curiosity.

The Kingdom of Attilan - the Moon: February 14th, 2021 - 10:30 A.M.

Bonnie Chase and Raynor Blake

Location: Outside the Palace
Skills: N/A

"Nothing," Crystal answered Tinley simply and unhelpfully. She then turned her attention to Cass, pain flashing across her face for a moment. "I'm afraid that won't be possible," she said. "You cannot have an audience with Black Bolt." Crystal did smile ever so slightly as Maria complimented her dog, Lockjaw. The dog nuzzled Crystal's hand and she scratched him behind the ears. However, her attention was soon caught once again by another cocoon, as the terrigen mists reacted with Matt's inhuman genetics.

"You better fucking hope no one got sick from that!" Raynor snapped at Oliver. Sparky had hidden her hands and with the suit on, no one would be able to tell she had been afflicted by M-Pox unless she volunteered the information herself. Tempest's own powers hadn't been able to cure Cass as far as he was aware - he was pretty certain she had tried by now - and while Raynor didn't want to tell the rest of his team, he was fairly certain there wasn't a cure for M-Pox. Anyone afflicted with it would be dead within the month. If they couldn't destroy the terrigen in the Earth's atmosphere, he had every intention of taking Sparky to another planet - maybe somewhere in Shi'ar space - where she'd be safe.

Bonnie carried Goose in her arms off of the quinjet. This more or less confirmed what she already knew - she wasn't inhuman. Everything special about her she had achieved through hard work and determination, through unchecked ambition. "You're inhuman, Oliver - and that was, quite frankly, a horrible thing you just did. You just recklessly endangered everyone on the team," she scolded. "There's no excuse for it and saying sorry isn't going to fix it either. Matt is in a cocoon and we don't know what sort of deformities he could be facing - and the mutants on our team might now develop M-Pox due to the high levels of terrigen mist in this atmosphere."

For once, Raynor had to agree with Bonnie. Sparky seemed to be fine, thank the gods. "So while we're waiting for Matt to hatch, why exactly is it that we can't see Black Bolt?" Raynor asked, not even caring if he sounded pushy or impatient here. He never liked watching Shakespearean dramas and diplomacy had always been more of his brother's area of expertise. "You all spread terrigen into our atmosphere, I think the very least you could do is give us a reason why. Flatscans or not, the Earth is inhabited with a developing civilization. Sure, they aren't advanced but they're still worthy of life. And if Asgard finds out what you did to one of their realms..." he added, snapping slightly.

Bonnie sighed slightly. She wasn't sure whether or not to be offended at Raynor's assessment of Earth's civilization. "Sorry for him, he's always like that... If there's someone else we could speak with, Princess Crystalia, that would be great. We're really just trying to understand what's going on," Bonnie said, trying her best to seem non-threatening. Crystal didn't look like she could have been older than twenty. With all of the destruction they had seen coming here, she had to imagine that Crystal was scared too - just hiding it under a mask of pretentious ego.

"You can't see Black Bolt because he's dead," Crystal huffed. "But fine, I'll take you to see Medusa. Just mind your flerken." The inhuman princess then turned her back on them, heading into what was still standing of the palace, her dog following her obediently.

Cassandra Reed
&
Maria Smith

Location: Quinjet, -> Outside the Palace
Skills: N/A

Cassandra turned her attention over towards Matt seeing the terrigen mists now affecting him as well, she just hoped that it wouldn't end up being something fatal to him, and hoped he would be alright. Cass looked around at the others, hoping that they all had sealed up their suits quickly. She let the others scold Oliver for his reckless move, she would have a talk with him later and most likely with Tinley as well for what had happened. When Bonnie also stepped out Cass was worried that something else would happen to her as well, luckily her friend was still human. "We will have a serious talk about this later. But right now we have a mission to worry about right now." Cassandra said, more or less agreeing with Raynor though and hoped the rest of the team was alright.

When Crystal mentioned that Black Bolt was actually dead that news wasn't good at all, seeing the brief look on Crystal's face showed briefly. She took a step off of the ramp of the Quinjet and started to follow a little bit behind Crystal who would take them to see this Medusa person. "What happened here? It looks like you guys were attacked." Cass asked, while looking at the others and hoped that Mathew would come out of the cocoon unscathed.

Maria looked at Matt and nodded towards him, though she was really pissed off at Oliver right now for his recklessness she wasn't actually going to punch him just yet. If someone else ended up getting infected, or Cass' condition got worse than it already was because of it, then she would. But Mathew ended up getting cocooned as well, shortly after he did, and Oliver looked like he had some super speed now before speaking up.

"When an a person with inhuman genes, loves someone else so much and then they make a baby, then the genes get moved over. Then they have the gene and when exposed to Terrigen then they end up with powers." Maria said to Oliver rolling her eyes slightly, while looking at Cass as she went to walk with Crystal to the palace. "I can stay here until Matt gets out or something if you guys want." Maria said, she watched Crystal and the dog making their way towards the palace, the news of Black Bolt being dead didn't sound good and the name Medusa reminded her of the old Greek myths as well.

Matthew Moss

Location: Outside the palace (in a cacoon thanks Oliver)
Skills: N/A

It didn't take Matt more than a second to realize what was happening. He had had this sensation before. He cursed as the cacoon wrapped around him. He was definitely going to punch Oliver now. He'd have to catch him off guard since the jerk had superspeed apparently. If Matt came out of this with a deformation or something terrible he was seriously considering killing Oliver. Okay, he wouldn't actually. But he had put Matt and several other's lives at risk.

And then the cacoon cracked and he took a deep breath of air. He wasn't certain what was different. That scared him if he was being honest with himself. He didn't know what had changed. Matt did a quick check off all his limbs and rubbed his hands on his face, but everything was covered with the protective gear so he had no idea if he was missing something that would be more apparent without the suit.

"Did I change color or anything?" He asked Maria. Matt tried to keep his voice calm and level as he spoke, but he knew he was radiating some anger and a bit of fear. At least he was still alive, he half started to reach for his chest...just to be certain, but kept his hands at his sides.

Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: The Quinjet
Skills: N/A

Tinley pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling a migraine coming on. Not only had one of their own done something idiotic, putting the lives of others in jeopardy, but one of the primary figures they were here to see was dead. She knew she had to step up now though since things were slowly getting out of hand. "Ok, everyone calm down. Yes, what Oliver did was incredibly idiotic and we will be having a long discussion about that later, alone, but until that time keep your punching hands to yourself." She didn't want to leave Matt alone while they left, but before she could say as such, Matt came out of his cocoon.

Tempest was finding it hard to be impartial given her feelings for Oliver, though she knew what he did was stupid. And she was surprised Tinley didn't thrash him then and there, though she supposed he would get that later. For now, they had a mission. "You two let me know if you experience any sickness or other symptoms. I can try to heal what I can." Though she knew her powers couldn't cure the disease, she could, at least, alleviate the symptoms.

Tinley would also address Oliver's newfound powers later. "Please, lead on." She allowed Crystal to direct them. She would not be responsible for Goose. She trusted the blasted thing to the others. Everyone had opinions and questions as to everything, but there was no sense causing trouble at this moment. Though Tinley shared Raynor's view. If this was intentional, meant to cause destruction and chaos, she would see that they pay, terrigen mist or not.

Tempest followed close by Oliver, both as a way to check on him and also ensure that no one messed with him yet. She gave him a warm smile, kind of impressed with his display. So long as he kept it controlled. They didn't nee anything else fucking up this mission.
