You know the old saying that love is blind? Well, I'm not sure about love, but I do know that truly Death is blind. He doesn't care how good or bad you are. He will drag you to the afterlife by his bare hands if he has to. All that matters is that it is your time to leave your Earthly life and make way for the next soul to reap.

After a while, death itself became a corporation and the reapers were the ones ensuring humans moved on to the afterlife. Lead by Death himself, reapers were assigned a human and would keep to that human until their final days. Then that reaper would move on to the next human they were assigned. This was meant to monitor humans, to keep them from death before their decided time and to help the soul accept and move on when they finally died. Sometimes special reapers were called in for particularly nasty humans and sometimes a human so bad would get the honor of meeting Death. 

Then there were those that were special, those that have met their own reaper before their time. Normally, these occurrences lead to nothing and the human would just forget. But rarely, the human did not. And once they saw a reaper they couldn't unsee them. Then there were those given even more power through their reaper. Power to see the dead before they've moved on. Power to see the aura of a living creature. Power to know when someone will die. Seeing a reaper and surviving can grant many different benefits.

Humans that have lost their reapers end up trapped on Earth, wandering as ghosts and ghouls. Two friends brought together from their powers decide to start a paranormal investigation team. They want to help those humans stuck on Earth. The problem is there seems to be a lot of souls without reapers and a lot of them are pretty new. Can these two find the courage to continue forward and find an end to whatever may be causing this?

An unforeseen event occurs when a human is born able to see their reaper. This human is special in more ways than one. The reaper assigned decides to not report this to Death and continues watch over the child. When Death finds out, he isn't too happy and the human is assigned a new reaper more experienced with these special humans. This human in particular needs to be watched closely for special reasons. Things get much more complicated when the newly assigned reaper falls for the human.

Kids with these special powers are invited to come live with those that have also obtained these special powers. From the outside this school seems to be in place to help students with their trauma of having that near death experience. It's a school for kids that need that bit of extra help. On the inside, the school is actually for those that can see grim reapers or have other powers beyond that. This is a place for these kids to have people like them and to be able to talk and hone their skills and maybe not feel so crazy.

[*] I like to have a plan for my rps so be prepared to plot things out. I hate running head first into a story.
[*] I'm working full time so I may get busy from time to time. I should still be available to post at least once a week, but I will probably post more than just once a week.

[*] I am female but will rp both male and female characters (I'd prefer to play the female in FxM relationships though, as I have had to rp the male counterparts to female characters way too often in the past)
[*] I enjoy romance in my rps! I'll do MxM, FxF or FxM romances, and of course any other sort of gender pairings as well. So if you want to play a non-binary character, for example, and want them part of the romance, that works for me.
