When going to assist (or attempt to assist) wounded, I plan on talking to that person and letting them decide the extent of their wounds. That way they can decide if they are concussed, going into shock, broke a bone, etc. and I will know to what extent my character can help them rather than just saying "Praetorian attempts to treat their wounds."
