No that's not whats depressing to me. See when your a 10 Great Families kid 10/10 times you have probably already participated in contests for power within the household due to your Mom/Dad. Eventually, you're normalized to such situations that it's just natural and fighting for being a Princess isn't so hard to stomach.

But when it comes to Regulars being converted into Princesses must be hard to fight tooth and nail for your survival and eliminating your fellow competitors who you no doubt grew close too for the purpose of testing loyalty.
