[@Crab Bane] Standard 'uniform' so to speak is a mix between a flight suit and armor, likely armor being added as a part of the disembarking process. So on foot you're looking at something like this:

Of course it's fantasy and for fun so it's not meant to be entirely logical. A character could wear pretty much whatever they want, as Drivers are given special freedoms with such things despite being a proper part of the military. For example, the idea I had for my own character:

You could very well just go for a more logical 'Pilot Power Armor' like:
