I feel like you wouldn't make much money off of that. I mean, what about all the heroes in the stories who just do what needs to be done when they do it? *Pauses* I guess it's a question of who defines a hero, not what.

I think it's too broad to paint everyone who helps someone else as a hero.

Someone who risks their life to save other lives. I didn't mean just any helping.

So if it's not a risk to their own life, they can't be a hero?

Not necessarily. It's not a minimum requirement, but I'd look at a person like that and say "Hey, that's a hero."

What about a wealthy person who gives up, to them, an insignificant amount to give a poor family enough food to live?

The family might look at that person and see them as a hero. The rich guy might not see it that way. People might praise the fact that the person noticed the family, but they probably wouldn't call the action heroic.

Then what's the point of identifying as a hero if it's in the eye of the beholder to begin with? That's just arrogance.

I don't think most heroes would call themselves heroes.

So you can probably get a rush from something not dangerous too.

Not really.

<Snipped quote by Heroic>

I guess that makes sense. Especially if he's going after all of Existence, like he says. Or she.

I call it an it at this point. Not even from here so who knows if we can apply our rules. Part of me hopes it sticks around long enough to wipe the Cerberus off the map at least. Solve some problems for me.

You've been calling everyone here a hero.

Not really.

There’s not a source for thrill from something like that.

Not particularly. Only one or two are necessary, and they’re the scummiest of scum.

Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Would be true if I literally never experienced anything other people got their rushes from.

And thus, the circle is compelted.

It’s not a conditioning thing. If anything trying to do that makes it more dull.

How would repeatedly riding a roller coaster when it’s boring suddenly make you thrilled about roller coasters? It makes no sense.

Conditioning usually isn't the definition of insanity.
