Begrudgingly Ethan had allowed Thomas to begin cleaning his wounds, he allowed the other to deal with the minor cut to the hand first and everything else before working his way up to his eye. In truth Ethan feared the worst for his left eye, they had put this patch over it from the moment it was wounded, and blood continuously spilled from it. They had denied the severity of it, Ethan stated it was just a cut and it would be fine, he would be able to see out of it no problem but in reality he hadn’t dared to open it up yet fearing to see nothing but black from that eye. Hours had passed reaching early evening, arguments between Ethan and Thomas over his wounds passed the time by until Ethan had finally allowed him to check it over. Ethans worst fears had been confirmed when he finally opened his left eye, blood poured out and all he could see was black. The damage was beyond repair for his eyes and he grimaced as Thomas attentively sorted out that horrible wound. It only added to his inner rage, his anger for the crown and how they had treated him. And the districts. He had to remind himself of that point because deep down he was gaining a rather unhealthy obsession with Caspain. Whilst Thomas dealt with Ethan other members of the rebellion had joined the long chats, assisted in making plans to get back to Tongsen and the business district to create a new base of operations. Looking at all the members before him he could see how the numbers had dwindled, but here remained the few that were loyal to him and the rebellion. No one commented on his frightful eye wound, probably for good reason because Ethan knew he would have snapped at them had they made a stupid comment over it. “Right, we can all agree it’s been a long day. I think I have tended to most of everyone’s wounds by now.” Thomas smiled looking around the room at the few members who were still here. Currently they had made it to his own fathers home in the district with the prison, thankfully the blast form the prison hadn’t left much damage to this district, but he knew it would only a matter of time before soldiers would fan out in the districts picking up the last remaining members. “So, we have decided to set up a new base, Tongsen, they have no reason to go back there now. It’s likely that the Nox-Fleuret line is dead.” Ethan folded his arms holding back the scoffs, the others didn’t know about her betrayal in full like he did. His father had covered it up with his wild plans that wouldn’t work. “Let’s not go into it.” “Right…” Thomas sighed shaking his head as he pulled out some papers handing them around, “We all need to take a different route. We have no supplies, materials or a way to drive. It will look suspicious if we travel in a group together and they will most likely be trying to flush the rest of us out.” “What about that secret base outside of Tongsen?” One of them perked up. “Compromised, you really think they didn’t get that information from Regis? Or his daughter for that matter. We will be going where I say we are.” Ethan snapped silencing one of the members from their suggestion. "O-Oh right, sorry."
