[@Turboshitter] All right! I can make revisions if necessary, or even just app a different magus. That said, first I'll try to explain the logic behind my decisions here. Hopefully that'll make things clearer and make it easier to hash out what exactly needs fixing.

With regards to the Mystic Codes, that's how Atlas Alchemists supposedly operate. They have Shirou-tier Magic Circuits (as seen with Nuari), and know barely any practical spells beyond Thought Acceleration and Memory Partition. However, they use the two of those to basically turn themselves into sentient computers, and then apply their empowered minds to create all kinds of crazy devices (ranging from Sion's Etherlite to superweapons like the Black Barrel). Nuari is meant to follow this trend: neither she nor her family have any notable spellcasting ability, because they're specialized entirely in boosting their intelligence to create powerful mystic codes.
Within this Atlas style of magecraft, the Maaike are further specialized in investigating Void Space. The reason I gave Nuari a third spell at all beyond the thought/memory stuff is because researching and creating mystic codes based on Void Space would likely require an easy means of accessing said space in the first place. It's not that she's more talented than someone like Trisha Fellows, it's that her family studies Void Space and its applications to the exclusion of literally everything else. Hence why Nuari's first two mystic codes are sensory (devices created for observation, which is essential to research), and her third one is protective (designed to protect a researcher from what they were studying). The last two are the actual fruits of the whole process, and their power stems from the fact that a lot of time was spent gathering knowledge and building them. That said, I know that last one is somewhat over-the-top, and I can probably tone it down by reducing the range/duration or requiring some kind of set-up for each use.
The whole point of the Maaike joining Yggdmillenia was that they hadn't gone completely unnoticed. People were sniffing around, and if the truth about them came out then they'd have been pretty much screwed. Atlas would want them gone, and the Church and the Clock tower would likely as not be happy to help wipe them out in exchange for political capital with Atlas. The Maaike are less cunning masterminds and like magical scientists, who require both Atlas knowledge and access to the world at large to pursue their research. Yet that very combination is forbidden, thus making their existence a kind of taboo. They're not capable enough to keep the truth hidden forever, and as soon as it emerged they'd be the enemies of every major mage organization... Thus, Yggdmillennia is really their only chance of long-term survival. They're making themselves enemies of the Clock Tower by joining Yggmillenia, but from their point of view it was going to happen anyways and they may as well fight a war with some actual allies on their side. Their endgame is basically just getting themselves into a position where they don't have to worry about being wiped out and can continue their work in peace.
So! With all that in mind, do you think she could still be viable? And if so, what would you recommend I tweak?
