Adrian told the griffin to go with them while he went to investigate the Warbeast and take out the surroundings archers. Chance and Nessa could handle the humans but he needed to find the Warbeasts. There was no telling how far they were teleported due to the nature of the runes. If they were close, he didn’t know if they could deal with them and the vampire all at once. As he did a sweep of the surrounding area, something grabbed him and threw him against a tree. He quickly got up and predicted another attack from the Warbeast. “One of the Warbeast made it back. Get Haki I can distract this one.”

As Chance and Nessa got close the vampire broke his spell and stepped out of Haki's shadow. “Hello, little vampire. Well, not even that. Either way, I would like to make a deal. I'm curious about how you were turned. I see no bite marks or sense a connection to any other vampire. Whoever turned you must've died or is too far away. So if you become my thrall I'll let your friends go. I'll even heal them for you."

“Chance don’t—” the vampire turned and looked at Haki before thrusting his claws into his stomach. Haki coughed out blood and fell to the ground. His vision darkened. His was cold and yet his insides were burning.

“Anytime Chance. He’ll bleed out soon,” the vampire said smirking.

Chance looked at the Vampire before he looked back to Nessa. Nessa shook her head before Chance hung his head, stepping towards the Vampire slowly. "If you promise you'll heal Haki. He's the important one." He said as he got within arms reach of the Vampire, he moved to hold out his hand as if to shake it.

Nessa moved to run towards Chance as he did so, before she froze up as she watched Chance make another move.
Chance gripped the Vampires wrist as he held it out to shake Chances. He pushed himself up towards the Vampire and moved to kick him in the chest, swinging with his own claws at the Vampire. "NESS HAMMER." He yelled out.

Nessa moved towards the Vampire now as well, surprised by Chance's cunningness before she leapt over him, moving to slam her sumhammer down against the Vampire. She glanced back to Ra as he seemed to help as well, running around and taking down the human poachers where he could.
Chance jumped away from the Vampire just before Nessa hit with her hammer, moving towards Haki quickly and knelt beside him.
He cupped his hands over Haki's face and looked at him with worry in his eyes, worry then slowly turned to anger as he pressed his head against Haki's for a second and turned to face the Vampire again, in case Nessa's hammer didn't do too much.

Adrian weaved his way through the forest with an angry Warbeast at his tail. He could hear the trees breaking and the loud snarling of a rabid beast. He couldn’t outrun the wolf for long and didn’t see any way he could escape. After gathering his composer, he stopped and turned to face the wolf. It immediately took the opportunity to pound onto him. Predicting the attack, Adrian dropped down to the ground. Just as the wolf was over his head, he held out his hand, and the moment it graised under the Warbeast he teleported the surrounding area to a nearby place. A loud splat followed by silence. When he turned to look, he saw the top haft of the Warbeast body and his feet laying on the ground. His entire abdominal area was gone.

He turned away from the corpse and returned to the other. The moment he got close he nearly stumbled at the sight. Haki had a hole in his stomach and was quickly bleeding out. He rushed over to Haki's side and inspected the wound.

“He doesn’t have much time. We need to go.” Adrain grabbed a vile of a blue liquid form his satchel and drank it. His veins began to glow a light blue as he channeled his powers. After a short second, a blinding flash of light erupted from his hands. Once their vision returned they were sitting near a lake, not the clearing they were in before.

“Haki—” Adrian coughed up the blue liquid and felt a wave of dizzy wash over him.

Everything became silent as the world froze around them. A woman with long black, dressed in white appeared on the lake and walked over to them. She made no sound, had no presence as if she didn’t exist. She then kneeled by Haki and cupped his head. They began to glow and in a flash of light, disappeared leaving a small white flower.

Adrian clumsily walked over to the flower and picked it. “We need to go, I’ll explain everything once we’re in the air.”

After they have flown for a bit Adrian started explaining, “what you saw back there was the mother of Druids. It is actually the first time I’ve seen her. She took Haki into the realm of the spirits to heal and once he is healed he’ll be returned to the place of the flower. At least that is that Haki told me what would happen. For now, all we can do is wait and continue to travel.”

Before Adrian was near, the Vampire had thrown back Nessa- he was injured by the hammer but he turned towards Chance to strike. Chance felt his power bubble aggressively around him as he lunched towards the Vampire.
The grass around them grew long and sharp, vines juttering out of the ground and pulling the Vampire to the ground as Chance leaped up and moved to punch the Vampire. His hand seemed to cover in sharp bark before it slammed through the Vampire's chest.

Chance stayed there for a moment before he pulled away his hand from the barky structure. He moved towards Adrian as he reappeared before he turned towards Haki when the woman appeared. He let out a low squeak as he went to attack her, before suddenly collapsing.
Nessa moved quickly to pick up the young Faepire before she motioned to Ra to follow her.

Back in the air Nessa had Chance leaning against her chest. He seemed to be out cold.
"The Mother of Druids..." She repeated quietly, she looked down to Chance quietly before she looked back to Adrian.
"So, when he's healed he'll appear where the flower is?" She asked, "So, say if he was healed now he'd be back here with us?"

Her attention was drawn back to Chance as he let out a shaky breath, but stayed unconscious. "I can't really pinpoint why Chance has taken such a.. protective nature over Haki." She said with a bit of a laugh, looking towards the sky again as she closed her eyes, basking in the warmth and light from the sun.
Ra was back into his small form, hiding back in Nessa's bag, eating the Goji berries he had found in there.

“I-I don’t know,” Adrian's voice became quiet. It was the first time in a while that he and Haki had been separated. All he could think of is if Haki could even be healed. He had a hole in his stomach which was not something magic could easily heal. On the other hand, it was the queen of Druids, a being closer to a god than mortal.

“I hope that is the case because I cannot lose him… I’m sorry but I will be going quiet for a bit. If you need me just signal” Adrian said then took off his ring. Everything became quiet leaving him with just his thoughts.

Haki was brought into the spirited realm, a place bathed in twilight. Towering trees doted the vast forest that made up the entire realm. The sky was twisting complex of colors. Creatures beyond the imagination called this realm home. In the middle of the realm was the world tree, Yggdrasil. This is the home of Tatiana the mother of druids and the queen of all Faries.

After an unknown amount of time had passed, Haki woke up in a pool of crystal clear water. It had a light blue hue and glowed a dim white. Surrounding him was the branch of the world tree that reaches far into the sky. His wounds had all heal leaving no scars or evidence that he was ever wounded. Standing up, he looked around the area to find no one.

“My child”

Haki looked for the voice and found Tatiana sitting on a dear-like creature surrounded by several wolves. “H-how are my friends? Are they all right?”

“It makes me happy to know that you care more about others than yourself seeing that you came back from the dead. They are alive and safe.”

“I died?” Haki looked at his stomach to see the wounds had competently disappeared. No scars or evidence of the injury were present. It amazed him that healing of this caliber was possible. He then slowly looked at Tatiana and asked, “will I be able to return?”

“You wish to return to a world that nearly killed you? I will not allow it.”

“So that means I am able to go back…Please send me back. My friends are waiting for me.” Haki begged.

“I will not allow it,” Tatiana said her face stern and full of authority. It made Haki want to not question her decision but he couldn’t stay. Before he could anything more, Tatiana had disappeared from view leaving him in the pool of water with no escape.

Nessa only nodded to Adrian as he fell silent, she didn't want to interrupt his thoughts so she fell silent as well.
She looked down to Chance as he laid against her body, she moved her hand slowly through his hair. She found herself pulling out small leaves and twigs from the younger-looking males hair, she hoped he would wake up soon.

She looked up to the sky as they flew, closing her eyes and prayed to the stars for help. She knew it would be a one in one thousand chance on it coming true, but she just wanted Haki back so Adrian could be at relative ease.

Chance's soul lay in the Faelands, floating above what seemed to be deep, rich red blood. He slowly opened his eyes as he moved his head to look around. The Faelands were a misty forest with pockets of even mistier meadows.
"It has been a while since I saw you child." A voice echoed through the fog, Chance watched the fog as it parted, a large beast-creature stepped through the fog.

"I know you know who I am." The beast said, lifting it's head, which was a strange mix of a dragon and a deer. "And I know you are worried. You used a lot of your magic, and your body is taking a toll."
"The others..." Chance gasped, moving to sit up before his body was pushed back down slowly to lie down.
"Relax little one. The Otherworlder is okay, so is the Mute Mage. As for the Warbeast=" They watched Chance slowly struggling to get up. "He is not under my gaze, so I cannot offer anything on him."

"Will... I wake up?"
"I would think so. You just need to rest." The beast turned and walked back off into the fog, the weight on Chances' chest disappeared.
Chance moved to stand up, looking around the Fog before he cupped his hands around his mouth. "HAKI!" He called out, looking around, "DRUID MOTHER." He stepped towards the treeline, watching the eyes of the forest watch him silently. "ANYONE?"

Built-in Silver Pasture, the city of wine is one of the largest cities in the land and house one of the most active merchant community. A thick stone wall rings the city, pierced in five places by the city's gates. Like the spokes of a wheel, broad, straight streets lead from each gate to the city center where a statue of the god of wine provides protection for any travelers that entered the city. The layout of these streets and the location of certain city features, such as the market, many inns, and warehouses, pay homage to the merchants that build the city. Cultures of all kinds exist within the city walls all interacting in a melting pot of traditions.

In front of each gate stands two stone giants in the shape of a tiger. These guardians are imbued with ancient magic and serve as gatekeepers into the city. Anyone who wishes to enter must provide an offering to lands or to the city itself. It can be as simple as a flower or extravagant as a gold statue but all offering must hold some greater meaning to the traveler.

————

After a long day of traveling, the party of Adrian, Chance, and Nessa finally touch down near the city’s gate. A long flow of merchants and caravan streamed into the city. Before passing the gate, each traveler stopped before the two large statues and held up their offering. If their offering was accepted it began to glow and slowly disperse into a thousand tiny lights. That was the sign that it was accepted while the offering would simply stay put if it was rejected.

Adrian got off Diana and stretch his aching back. He then put on his ring and turns to the others. “Welcome to Du’vir. Everyone gather your belongings, the griffins won't be coming with us. Also, this city is rather special. You need to pay a tribute before entering. Just offer something that shows who you are, it doesn’t have to be expensive or anything.”
After everyone gathered their belongings, the Griffins took off into the air and disappeared into the distance. He wasted the griffins fly away before walking towards the main road. It was rather busy with all kinds of people and races from all over the land. They were all here for the festival of wine where the powers of the statues would be replenished. It would happen once every few years and would draw hundreds of thousands of people.

“…I wish you were here to see this Haki. You always liked festivals,” Adrain thought while looking at the flower that the druid mother left.

By the time they landed in front of Du'vir, Chance was shocked straight back into his body by the Deerbeast. He blinked his eyes a bit before jolting up, before realizing he was in Nessa's arms. He let out a squeak as he moved to slip out of her grasp, getting hugged by the Starborn wasn't something he anticipated either.
"Yeah yeah, I'm okay." He mumbled before he looked towards Adrian, noticing the flower before his eyes widened. He wanted to say something before he sighed and rummaged through his bag. "An offering? Fuck. I don't know." He said as he looked over to Nessa.

Nessa moved into her bag quickly, lifting Ra up and got him to hold something before she rummaged more, her arm burring straight into the seemingly tiny bag.
"Where are you." She mumbled before she pulled out a small badge with Alien writing on it. She looked it over with a frown before she stood up to put her bag back over her shoulders. She followed after Adrian quickly, Ra following by her feet with a metal twig in his mouth.

Chance followed afterwards, his hands in his pockets as he stared at the ground. What did he have to offer? He didn't really have anything, and these guardians would know if he gave something that wasn't good.
He pulled out a small bracelet that he had nabbed off a princess a while back, it had no real meaning to him, but it was shiny. He looked to the large Tiger Statues as he waited in line. He had a feeling they wouldn't let him in with it, but he was going to test his luck.

Adrian waited in the sideline for the others to offer their offering. He already offered something once before and was allowed to past. It was a simple offering of a piece of paper. It would mean nothing to most but to him it was his voice, one of the few ways he could communicate. There was a huge amount of people so the guards were forcing everyone to wait in line. Normally people would just walk up and offer their offering then enter.

After waiting for a short moment, a man with long black hair tied in a ponytail walked up to him. He wore a simple shirt and pants that did little to hide his toned muscle. “Long time no see Adrian,” he said.

“Larvak, you’re alive. I was sure that you would be dead by now.”

“Always so much faith in me,” Larvak said, “anyway the guild wanted to see you for a special quest. I’ve heard it from the king himself...But who’s the girl? Have you gotten yourself a girlfriend?”

Adrian rolled his eyes and punch Larvak in the arm causing him to stumble and nearly fall over.

“Get out before I kill you,” Adrian signed.

“Haha fine. Oh before I go, tell Haki to come and see me. I would love to go dirking with him again,” with that Larvak disappeared into the city.

After everyone had gotten to offer their tribute, they were allowed to enter the city. Stepping through the gate, the entire city was in view. Hundreds of people filled the streets and many more merchants lined the road, selling all kinds of goods. In the distance, a giant cathedral stands on the horizon. Crafted from gold and marble, the building seemingly glows in the sunlight.

“Everyone, let us find a place to stay then we can spend some time to relax. Any place that catches your eyes?” Adrian asked.

While Adrian was waiting, Nessa and Ra both offered their things, both of them being accepted after a moment of silence. Then came Chance; he moved to lift the bracelet above his head, He closed his eyes and uttered under his breath to be allowed in.
He waited for a few moments before he lowered his hands, seeing the bracelet still in his hands. He sighed and looked towards Nessa and Ra as they walked off to join Adrian.

"Oi, Hurry up and get outta line if you don't have any form of offering." One of the guards barked to Chance, his eyes moving to stare down the guard before he moved to pull out a small flower made out of glass. Chance gripped it in his hands as he stepped forward again, feeling the flower slowly disappear from his grip.

"I'm sorry Iella." He whispered as the guards allowed him in, he wiped a small tear off his face as he met up with Adrian and Nessa. "Anywhere not crowded works for me." He mumbled, his voice almost void of emotion.

Nessa moved to pet Chances head as she looked around, feeling Chance try and swipe at her hand caused her to smile slightly.
"This place is gorgeous." She uttered before she looked through the area, pointing to a small Inn with a sign of a sinking moon upon water. "That one. It has ties to Celestials."

Haki felt time past him while in the lands of the fairies. It had been weeks since he was brought into the other world and still, he hasn’t found a way out. Tatiana has been keeping him busy with recovering his lost magic due to the nature of his resurrection. It was much of the same routine every day which has been weighing on his mood. He wanted to leave and join his friends but all attempts of escape have been unsuccessful. He was too weak to open a portal through the veil. Though during an attempt, he did discover that using the reflection in the waters allowed him to observes the other world. Did tries using it to find his friend but has failed every time.

“Why can't I just leave…”

Adrian nodded then walked into the inn. It was a quaint little place that was owned by some locals. Adrian came up to the front desk and handed them a price of paper saying that he would like to book 3 rooms. The receptionist glared at him and said, “6 gold.”

Adrian rolled his eyes and paid her. He hated that people look down on him for being mute but after years of it he learned that it was more trouble than it was worth. She then handed him three keys and waves him away. He took the keys walked back to the group.

“I got us some rooms,” Adrian said handing everyone a room key. He then took out the flower from his bag and handed it to chance saying, “here you should hold on to this. Lose it and I’ll kill you.”

Nessa moved across some of the stalls as she waited for Adrian, finding a cute little beanie and offered the amount of gold for it, before she returned back to Chance and slipped it over his head to hide his bat-like ears. Chance flinched as Nessa touched him, before he turned to see Adrian walking back with the keys.
"Thank you Adrian." Nessa said with a small smile towards him. "Should we put our stuff away?"

Chance took the key and slipped it away before Adrian handed the flower from Haki. As it was put into his hands he instinctively gripped onto it; being careful to not hurt the flower, but strong enough to seem like an iron grip.
"I will guard it with my life." He said as he looked down at it, not looking at Adrian. Something flexed inside his body, he had lost the meaning to his life when he became a Vampire, but now? This was different, why was it that a flower potentially containing someone he had only just met give him a sense of feeling?
I will take care of you. He promised to Haki through the flower, moving it to one of the pockets of his shirt under his cloak.

A figure slunk deeper into the crowd as he walked towards his group of companions.
"Aye boss." He started, getting the attention of a black haired male, "Looks like you were right, we got a few weirdos coming in with the festival. This kid had bat ears." He watched the attention of the Black haired male twist towards him, his eyes narrowing through the crowd and pinpointing the back of Chance.
"Keep an eye on him. Do not strike until I say so, we need him alone to get him. Those two may cause a problem otherwise."

Adrian didn’t know if his decision on giving Chance the flower was a good idea. It was the only thing that Haki had left behind, and he gave it away. It was too late to regret his decision, but it was still at the forefront of his mind.

“You can enjoy the festival, I have some business at the guild so if you need me I’ll be there,” Adrian said before leaving for the guild. He wondered what they wanted and if he was able to handle it by himself. It was a request from the higher-ups which means it wasn't any normal quest. After a bit of pondering, he decided that it wasn’t doing him any good and he should hurry to the guild.

It took him a little while to reach the guild due to the massive crowd. Once inside, he made his way to the back where the meeting was taking place. He had only expected the guild master but a man that looked like nobility was also waiting for him. He was dressed in fine clothing and had an extravagant sword at his side.

“Ah, Adrian you made it just in time. This is sir Belmont of house Belmont. He has a personal request for you.” The guild master said.

“It is a pleaser to meet you Adrain Novas,” the noble said then held out his hand for a handshake. Adrain ignored the handshake as he had a distinct grudge for the Belmont family. Some of their smaller branches had dealings with the slave market, which he despised. If they weren't a royal family, he would’ve left in an instant.

After the award introduction, they all sat down and disgusted the request. The Belmont has hosted the festival for generations. They pride themselves on the extravagant display during the festivity. Though this year was different. Many poachers have also gain access to the festival, and they feared that it would cause problems. So the Belmont wanted someone to investigate the poachers present in the city, and thus the guild recommended Adrian and Haki. They have also noted several kidnapping in the city and suspected the poachers. It would be troublesome for Adrain to refuse a request from the nobles, so he accepted but warned them that he will not answer to the Belmont.

Once the final details were completed, Adrian made his way back to the inn.

Nessa waved to Adrian as he left, leading Chance up to their rooms quietly. She put her stuff away and moved to start to get changed into more comfortable clothes. Chance left her to herself as he went to put his stuff away, he moved quickly to grab his sidebag before slipping it over his shoulder, making sure not to crush the flower in his pocket. He passed Nessa's room and knocked on the door.
"Having a look around. I'll be back by Starfall." He spoke as he left, feeling his ears itch under the beanie, moving to take it off quickly and tossing it to the side with a grumble.

He walked along the streets slowly, one hand on his bag, the other over the pocket with the flower, as if that was to help in anyway.
"I should have just given myself up." He mumbled as he glanced to the flower, "You'd be alive. The others... would be better off. I can't even use my powers properly! What use am I as a Fae or a vampire!"
"You'd make a good amount of coin to someone." A voice came from behind him and Chance narrowly missed being grabbed by a male. He didn't turn to look, he just ran.

He ran deeper into the city, not paying attention to the way he went. Someone was after him, and he just needed to escape.

Nessa had nodded at Chances words, moving to change into a lighter dress top and some shorter pants. The dress top she put on had slip holes for her wings to slip out of, which made her feel a lot more comfortable. She looked at her arms in the mirror, observing the circle-like runes that ran down her arms and over her shoulders.
She gave a sigh, something like this reminded her of home. She moved to grab her bag again, pulling Ra out and moving to grab something to put on his head.
"You are not putting that on me!" He hissed when he saw her holding a little bow tie, "Missus Nessa you are not-" He was cut short as Nessa wrapped her tail around him and slipped it over his neck, grinning like an idiot.

Adrian made a sweep of the city using his teleportation magic to quickly move around. He found nothing of interest until he heard a loud scream. It was a woman and she was nearby so he quickly rushed to see what was happening. The source of the scream was an alley where a woman was being targeted by three men armed to the teeth. They had a clan symbol tattooed on their arms which means they were the people the noble was talking about.

Without wasting any time, he jumped down from the roof and attacked the poachers. He managed to knock one out with a quick kick to the head. Talking the opportunity, another poacher threw a small bag that exploded and filled the ally with a strange powder. He didn’t know if it was dangerous so he tried Teleporting away but quickly felt a sharp pain throughout his body. He was then tacked by a large force knocking him to the wall and causing him to spit out blood.

His magic was being blocked. Looking around he noticed some movement and sidestepped another attack. He then drew his sword and stabbed it into his attacker's side. Another attack came from behind as another poacher slashed his forearm. He quickly retaliated and punched the poacher in the stomach before slamming his head into the ground.

Once the air had cleared, he saw that the poachers had mysteriously disappeared. he didn't sense any other threat so he moved to check on the woman, who was glad to be saved. He took the opportunity to ask her some questions. It turned out that many Fae were being targeted by the poachers for an unknown reason. He then realized that Chance might be in trouble if the poachers noticed him. He quickly parted the woman and ran back to the inn. He tries to use his magic but his mana was being blocked. Every time he tried a sharp pain pierced his inside.

Haki was finally allowed free rain of the world tree after resting for a few weeks. All his wounds had fully healed and his magic was slowly returning. He was still searching for a way to escape but eventually, the Druid mother forbade him from trying anymore, fearing that he might hurt himself. With little options, he searched the three hoping to find some clue on escaping. After a bit of exploring he found a small pond at the heart of the tree. He looked into its reflection and could see the normal world. He then began experimenting where he suddenly saw Chance running.

“CHANCE! Hello, can you hear me? What’d happening? Are you okay?” Haki yelled but nothing he did seem to get across. He felt hopeless but continues to watch as Chance ran from an unknown threat.

Nessa finished getting into her relatively fancy clothes, she slipped her vest over her dress top and fixed up her high-top boots. She moved to put her travel bag over her shoulder and moved to grab the leather shoulder brace that she usually carried Ra on.
All the while Ra sat on the bed trying to get the stupid tie off his body.

Once the Brace was on, Nessa moved to lift Ra up onto her shoulder, giving him a small peak on the cheek as she exited her room and locked it. She noticed Chance's hat she had got him on the floor and gave a small sigh.
"If the boy didn't want it I would have just taken it back." She said with a mumble and put it into her bag as she looked around. She slowly made her way to the main room in the inn and looked around more, no sign of Adrian or Chance, although they both had a headstart on seeing the city for themselves.

Nessa checked where the sun was before she looked up, stepping outside and past everyone to see Adrian running towards the inn, she waved him down with a small smile. "Welcome back! How was business?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Chance pushed his body to his limits to get away from whoever was chasing him. He pushed over barrels as he slipped down an alleyway that he thought wasn't blocked off. He looked up from the ground to see two men blocking the way out before he acted quickly, moving to side between the men and narrowly escape being grabbed.
"Don't let 'em escape! He'll be worth all of yer blood in gold!" The man chasing him called out.

Chance moved and climbed over a wall, darting through a few peoples gardens and onto a roof before he moved to lay out of sight.
He felt his heart race, his breath heavy as he moved his hands to cover his mouth in hopes of keeping the noise down.
He waited as he heard footsteps run past, peeking over her didn't see anyone below so he slipped down from his hiding spot and continued a brisk walk around.
He had lost his bearings, he didn't know where he was. Fear started to grip him as he quickly moved along; the crowds were becoming too much for him, and the added fear of potentially being hunted down wasn't helping him either.
"Haki I wish you were here..." He uttered, unaware that he had said Haki's name instead of Iella's. He looked up to the taller buildings before he suddenly slipped and slammed into the ground.

He went to get up before he felt someone grab his arms and hold his hands behind his back.
"Try and attack me and I'll shoot you with silver bullets. I know it won't kill something like you, but you bet your ass it will sting." A hushed whisper echoed through his ears, Chance quivered as he was slowly lifted up and walked into a nearby allyway.
"Holy shit we actually caught him." The leader said with a grin on his face, "Get the hood, Vampires are known for their convincing gaze." Chance went to yell something at them before his head was covered by a thick, damp smelling fabric bag that blocked out all the light. He felt himself being lead along towards a cage and shoved into it before slamming into the ground again. His hands were free, and he instinctively went to check if the flower had been squished. Luckily the place it was kept made sure it was safe.

“CHANCE! No w-why can’t you hear me. Please don’t leave me,” Haki said as he thrashed against the water. He was frustrated and afraid. His friends were in danger and he wasn’t there to help them. He felt alone and abandoned.

feeling the presence of Tatiana behind him he started saying, “I thought you craated us to protect people. And yet we can’t do anything less than threat threatens the world. What twisted logic you have." It has been weeks since he was reborn and yet he would rather be dead. It was as if he had return to childhood where days would go by with him stuck in a cage in the dark as he was transported to his new master. Followed by intense pain as he was ‘broken in’ to his new home. So many times he thought to himself that death would be mercy. So many times he held a knife in his hand and was ready to end it and yet he didn’t. He was alone and despite but still had people around him but now he had no one.

“If you wish to leave then I will allow it. As much as it pains me to see you go I see that this place is not for you. I shall prepare the ritual,” Tatiana said then disappeared like she was never there.

Adrian ran back to the guild as fast as he could. His magic had not returned and he was afraid that it might not in some time. As he got near the inn, he heard Nessa calling out to him, “Nessa I’m glad you’re safe. Have you seen Chance? He might be in danger.”

Nessa blinked, "of course we're safe. I spent the time getting undressed and relaxed some muscles before changing clothes and heading out." She stated, confused at first before she blinked. "Chance said he was heading off into the city, he left the hat behind." She said as she lifted the beanie out of her bag before putting it back in.

Ra scratched at his bowtie in anger, unable to reach it with his mouth to pull it off, he would have to try and pull it off another way.
Nessa glanced to her beast companion and gave a small smile before she looked back towards Adrian. The man seemed serious, and something was off.
"You seem breathless, are you okay?"

Chance shuddered as he felt the cage moved, his hands slowly moving to pull out the flower and gripped onto it tightly.
"Hey, what's this?" One of the voices spoke, moving to grab the flower from Chances hand. As soon as he felt someones hand near his, Chance pushed back and kicked at the hand with his foot. The man yelled and the cage was dropped, causing Chance to stumble, almost losing grip on the flower before the cage door opened.

"Sadly we don't have any soft rope to cuff him with, we have this silver chain though." The leaders voice echoed again, Chance moved the flower back to his pocket before he felt his legs being grabbed and his body moved upwards.
He didn't know it, but one of the men was holding him upside down as the other slipped down his pants legs so the silver chain was touching his skin.
Chance let out a loud yowl as the metal burnt at his skin. Not as much as a pure vampire would feel, but it still wasn't pleasent.

"When I get my hands on you you're all DEAD." Chance yelled angrily, "I'll crush you all under rocks and trees, feed you to the vines beneath!"
"He's so cute when he's angry. Poor little kid." He laughed as he ordered his men to wrap his hands up as well.

“I’ve encountered more poachers in the area and discover that they are targeting Fae. Chance——target——what’s happ——”

The telepathic lines cut off. Adrain looked at his ring with confusion before turning back to Nessa. He felt the magic inside him being blocked and since the enchantment required mana, it stopped working. Was it that strange powder? If it was, who would be capable of creating something this potent?. He quickly pulled out his notebook and started writing. “I can’t feel my magic. This will do. Chance might be a target for poachers. Need to find him.”

The ritual for opening a portal in the vail took a few days to prepare. In the meantime, Haki was taken to the heart of the world tree where he would have an audience with the queen. He didn’t know what she wanted but as they enter the heart an old memory resurfaced. He remembered this place. When he first tapped into his Druidic magic, he was taken to this same place where he swore allegiance to the queen of fairies and took an oath to protect the world. He brushed the old memory away and turn to face Tatiana who stood in the middle of a large open room with a magic circle etched into the floor.

She turned and face Haki with a soft smile. “My child let me tell you a story. Once there was a man, who in death would become a Lich. He plunged the world into darkness but was cast away by a hero. Now he is returning. The world is at risk. thus I’m allowing you to return. To face this threat. But you cannot leave as you are. There are limits to your powers that must be broken. This will not be pleasant.”

Suddenly everything became bark. The world disappeared from view as thousand of stars emerged from the darkness. Haki could see everything between the veil and all thing that was to transpire. He was then engulfed in an overwhelming presence. His body was ripped apart and put together. His magic was taken then replaced. His soul changed until it became unbearable. Everything faded away as he slipped into unconsciousness.

Nessa's ears twitched at the cutting out sound of Adrians' voice. She blinked before he moved to grab his notebook and wrote stuff down.
"Right." She said with a frown before she looked to Ra briefly and moved her bag around for him to slip into. Ra didn't need to be told what he was supposed to do, he darted into the bag quickly and settled in without a word.

Nessa looked towards Adrian again and gave a small frown, "I don't know exactly where he decided to go." She started to him before she closed her eyes, her freckles starting to glisten slightly before the stones around her seemed to glisten. "But he has the StarPrint from earlier, so I can most likely track him." She tilted her head, her Magic wasn't hindered at least. SHe wondered what had triggered Adrians' magic to shut off, but that wasn't important. There were Poachers, and they were potentially after Chance.

Chance fell silent after that comment, anger flooded through his body, but he was ensnared, there wasn't much he could actually do like this. He tried to calm himself down, Fae never acted right when they were irrationally emotion-fueled; he closed his eyes and sat in the cage and focused on the air around him. He felt his magic spin and start to circle outwards, twisting in the area and hooking onto anything plantlike that it could.

The plants along the walkways moved and tried to grab at the cage, twisting to try and strike the poachers before they were stomped down.
Chance's magic hit a seed stuck into the back of the shirt on the Leader, sensing this Chance pooled all his magic into that seed and tried to do whatever he could with it.

The Seed itself started to warp, twisting into the fabric it was entangled in before it suddenly burst outwards from the top, tearing it from the leaders body and caused it to slice through the arm of the one behind him. The poacher let out a loud yell as they stepped away, stumbling slightly as they reached to grip their ripped arm, which was now slowly bubbling up with blood.
