Kire whirled around when Zeke cursed. “You and a whole army,” she commented, before grinning when she turned to Envy. But the news of two shadow elves getting sucked in made her frown. She was about to turn back and go in again when Ysaryn followed. When she went back in to find the missing elves, Kire went back in to help the search. They weren’t in the living quarters, nor where they in Daryll’s library and room. “Ugh,” Gavin muttered. “Does that mean we check down at the basement?” Ed didn’t look too pleased at that. Kire groaned, though she paused, remembering something. “The armory’s down there, too.” “Ah. Well, perfect then.” Gavin nodded. Before they went in, however, they opened the Tower entrance wide to let in more air. Kire went in first, covering her nose and trying not to breathe in the fumes too much. Gavin followed behind Ysaryn. They quickly passed the alchemy chamber, the smells making Kire dizzy, until they found themselves at the entrance to the armory.
