Still, it's consistent ability to induce explosions gives a unique taste to artes... Which is quite worrying since it was supposed to become a toy for her kid brother... The boomstick is kept in Zoey's sleeve like a trump card, and somehow hasn't blown her hand off yet.

Ever saw someone rain fireworks down on you and use the blast to do a double jump? No? Well does Zoey have something in store for you! Many of her artes move her all over the battlefield, by the power of boomstick! This also causes many artes cast in conjunction with her self-made rod of destruction to have fire elemental properties.

[b]Background:[/b] It's not a stretch to say Iselia's opinions were very divided about their new chosen. Although of common birth, Zoey was identified as the chosen at an early age and abused her privileged position to the best of her abilities and grew up plain spoiled. Zoey's only duties for a long time would be to learn about the tales and rituals of the Church of Martel. With her keen mind, Zoey had to spare little to no effort on that. As she grew up however, that same mind developed an interest for science and archery, as well as a greater need for solitude to practice these hobbies in. None of that mixed or match well with her teachings nor upcoming pilgrimage. As the priests tried to prepare Zoey for her journey, she would rather spend her time away tinkering at some obscure invention. Zoey grew more and more detached from her task... After all, things had been just fine up to now, right?
