Sky flinched at the sound of the gun, the vibrations of the noise resonating through her body. "A little warning might be nice, you know." She growled as she popped her knuckles and shook away the ringing in her ears. "I'd be worried about them too if they weren't asking for it." She shrugged and pulled her knives free of their sheaths. A man stepped forward, one she assumed to be in charge. Sky forced down a spurt of laughter but could not hide her smirk. "You can have your lame lackey once you've exited the diner and started on your way to your next target. I full heartedly believe that I have the upper hand because I don't have to touch you to kill you. I won't be merciful either. That right there..." She nodded towards the maimed body on the floor. "...was a mercy shot. You won't receive the same courtesy if I get involved." Sky scraped the blades of her knives together and listened to the sound, disguising the move as a taunt.
