Hey there, I've used PBP RPG sites in the past. My favorite spot hasn't been in use for more than seven years now if that puts things in more perspective. I usually GM'ed free-form games and played free-form games. The genres I mostly enjoy playing are dystopian, urban-fantasy, or high-fantasy.
My first experience was in high school, I played a magical themed game, and it was loads of fun, and I kept playing for a few years after that. Though work has prevented me from playing the past few years, with the 'Rona,' I thought why not play again--it's my hobby that I enjoy--well use to enjoy. I want to stop letting work dictate my personal life.
I've never played on the Guild before, so this is going to be a learning curve.
Oh, yeah, I prefer group role-plays, but I have done a few one-on-one games before. Groups are less stressful since, to me, it feels like less pressure strangely. I could ramble more on it but won't.
As far as pace, I prefer somewhere between fast one-liners and five pages of text. I can spit out two paragraphs in a post if there is something to work with of substance. But writing five pages is just too much for me.
Things I do for fun
-Reading fantasy novels (urban or high-fantasy).
-Playing video games such as Fortnite (yuuuuuup), Among Us, and Diablo III.
-Listening to music, singing along--hell, I even do SMULE.
-Making and sending greeting cards (LMAO).
-Writing stories that I used to share on Fiction Press and Wattpad, but then deleted most of them after an "incident" happened.
