His rise to power is not without controversy, however. Many political opponents have dropped out of races with him due to suddenly uncovered scandals or “accidents”. Barrick is a man who has a specific goal for Mars, and will do whatever he can to reach it.

The obvious truth is that she is madly in love with him, and does not mind being used, as long as she gets to be close to him. 

[url=https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/characters/2/343024.jpg]Nash Victus[/url] A military officer in the Mars Defense force and childhood friend of Barrick Torres. He's the source of Mars NOW's political clout in the planetary military, and he is a skilled pilot. Pilots a custom RGZ-91 Re-GZ.

Caedman Brinz is the engimagic leader of ARES. At roughly 42 years old, Caedman boosts over twenty years of military experience, and has fought in many wars, always on the losing side. Caedman has his own agenda leading ARES, and is willing to work with whoever he can to reach his goal. His ultimate goal is not one of destruction, but of salvation. And there is only one person he deems worthy to save humanity.

Even at a young age she showcased her mysterious powers, leading to her being a test pilot for many of Neo Zeon’s Newtype equipment. After the war, she found herself without meaning until she met Caedman Brinz, who gave her a new purpose in life: to fulfill his dream and get revenge on those that took her old life away.

Fredrick Carlyle is a speed freak, which is ironic since his background has always been as a medic than a frontline fighter. During his time piloting for ARES he was able to finally discover something he truly enjoys, even if it means killing and destroying civilian crafts.

Isobel Fairfax is a Mars native, born and raised in Olympia. She is fiercely loyal to her planet and her people, and honestly believes that ARES is doing what is best for the Mars Sphere.

Odo Long has always wanted to be a pilot, but always came up short in maneuverability. With his fine-tuned Ga-Zowmn he finds comfort in finding a perch amid the asteroids and sniping from a distance. 

Basic Troops: Pilot RMS-156 Griffon, AMS-119 Geara Doga, RGM-79Q GM Quel. 
The ARES grunts come from all walks of life. Some are former Titan soldiers, others are former Neo Zeon, Glemy or Principality Refugees who joined ARES for a chance to strike back at the forces they feel betrayed or harmed them in the past. The basic pilot uniform color palette is black and red.

The Voltus Salvage Company

Over the years he and his company have overhauled the ship, and he has made a name for himself as the one Salvage Company that will do [i]any[/i] job, regardless of the danger. Cornell is also Marlowe’s grandfather, though the two are not very close.

[url=https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/characters/12/303226.jpg]Kellen Arks[/url] The Cathartes' 26-year-old helmsman. Constantly goofing around, listening to loud music, and arguing with Remia. Panics in crisis situations easily, but later after several drinks, attempts to say he was the brave one.

Formerly a colony engineering student for Side 6, after a mishap that led to a section of the Issa Colony losing power for 2 weeks, she found the only job willing to hire her being a dangerous salvaging company.
