Yeah it was kind of a jackass move. It was hard to write, and even harder to send, and probably should have come with one of those warning they have before some Tv movies, the 'this movie in no way reflects the views or opinions of the people who work at this tv station' but it WAS how Oscar would respond to an insult of his home, he is kind of overprotective of the place and sometimes that overprotectiveness gets the better of him, not that that excuses it, and I'm not generally one of those people who uses 'it's what the character would do' for being a jackass, not that any of that excuses it, I guess it just is the way it is. But at the same time he still heard and empathized and appreciated Erin's story, he just....reacted to the wrong thing.

On an unrelated note, that was quite poetic the "Victory Doesn't Always mean Success" that Peter added, and No, it certainly doesn't.
