𝕝𝕖π•₯’𝕀 π•¨π•£π•šπ•₯𝕖...
Hi. I’m Alexis. I’m new here. Kinda. Basically, I wanna write with people. Get to know them, get to know their characters, and get to know my own characters. I wanna itch the itch that’s been itching me for years now, and I figured it was finally time for me to reach out and do something about it. I’ll explain a little bit about me before I get to what I’m wanting from a potential writing partner, just so that whoever’s reading this knows what they’re getting into. I’m a student teacher - meaning I pretty much have a full-time, unpaid job at the moment alongside a ton of homework. To put things simply, I will not be a fast replier ninety percent of the time - but I will always, eventually reply. Longest it’ll take me is about a week. I’m a female, a young woman, a girl, or whatever you wanna call it; and, as you may have already figured, I somehow always manage to say things using at least ten words when I could’ve only used two. It’s a teacher thing, I think. When it comes to my writing ability, I’d say I’m pretty good. I mean, I’m pursuing a career in teaching writing, so I’d like to hope I’m good. I love really injecting character personality into my writing, as if it’s coming from their brain, and not just someone writing from the outside. Just to make things clear, though - I do write in third person and will not be changing this. My characters are pretty much always flawed to some extent - normally more on the extreme side. I would much rather play an absolute psychopath than a girl-next-door. I do not have a preference to which gender I play, unless I already have a character in mind for a certain plot (more on that later), and I am twenty years old and not afraid of some mature themes or scenes. I love, love, love complex, slow-burn plots - especially with some kind of romance thrown in. I'm not a huge fan of the whole love-at-first sight kinda thing (personally, I prefer a little more angst and hard work to get to the point of characters even likingeach other). I've rambled quite a lot here, but I'd love it if you could let me know if you've at least read this far by letting me know what your favourite song is somewhere in your message to me.
𝕨𝕙𝕒π•₯ π•š 𝕖𝕩𝕑𝕖𝕔π•₯ π•—π•£π• π•ž π•ͺ𝕠𝕦...
Honestly? If you come to me with an open mind and at least some degree of literacy I'll probably be up to writing with you. I'm not asking for much - just a writing partner that is willing to collaborate with me to roleplay a plot with interesting, engaging characters. The only pet peeve I see getting in the way of a potential partnering between us is boring characters. If you come to me asking for me to play the empty-headed jock to fall in love with your quiet, nerdy character then I will lose interest. I won't hold back on telling you this, too. When it comes to posting frequency, I would say I'm pretty laid back. At least a post a week doesn't seem like too much to ask for, unless you specify other circumstances which I will totally understand. OOC chat would, preferably, be a little more frequent - but I get that real life comes first. Speaking of OOC chat, I believe that a friendly, open-minded relationship is crucial to a successful roleplay partnership. I'd love to joke around with you, hear. about your day, or even just chat about our characters or world-build together. I don't bite, promise! (on that note, I'm only interested in roleplaying with people 18+. No exceptions.) Last but not least - comprehensive, detailed posts are a necessity for me. A little bit of time and thought going towards a piece of writing goes a long way. I'm not asking for too much, I would say - just a minimum of two paragraphs per post would be splendid. Typically, I'll give out the effort I feel I'm receiving.
𝕑𝕝𝕠π•₯ π•šπ••π•–π•’π•€!

Through some fault or other of their own, two heirs of feuding families (or kingdoms) have thrust themselves into a situation in which they are forced to fake a relationship. The problem with this? They absolutely despise each other. Already cracking under the pressure of two overbearing families, a common enemy pops up when things cannot seem to get worse. They maintain this farce as if their lives depend on it. Because they do. This plot is, quite possibly, my favourite. I already have a female character in mind to play for this one but you may be able to convince me with an alternative route if you plead your case particularly well. There's a lot of lee-way here - we can go down the route of two rival gangs in a modern-day city, or two feuding royal families looking to unite their rival kingdoms. Lots of world-building opportunities here!

The land of the fae is a far darker place than what is told in bedtime stories. A brutal, savage place with primal rules of death and carnage so very different from the tamer ways of the mortal world, and unmatched in its dangerous beauty. One of our characters finds themselves thrust into this unfamiliar world, unbeknownst to them that this is their homeland. It is up to the other character to guide them through this - willing or not - as they have something they so greatly need. The bloodline of the last remaining heir to the throne of the Fae.

A group of friends spend one last summer together after graduating high school and before they all go their separate ways in life. An unconventional group of kids, some of them get along better than others. This could be the greatest vacation of their. lives, or potentially the worst. This plot could go either way - a typical teenage slice of life, or a horror story. Maybe one of the teenagers dies mysteriously? Or maybe just one of them is cheating on their partner with another? I'm also wrestling with the idea of forming a small group roleplay with this idea, otherwise we would be playing multiple characters.

Young love... it makes us do stupid things. A young man finds the woman he is in love with dead, and it destroys him. What would happen if someone were to offer him a way to get her back? A mysterious, magnetic, supernatural someone? A plot where two reluctant allies team up to get back this one dead girl. Please note: I'm not interested in either of us properly playing the dead girl. A story of character growth with loads of room for supernatural elements.

Typical zombie apocalypse. Our two characters are forced to team up to survive. There are so many threats out there : the undead, surviving the elements, other humans, and even themselves. What does a world like this do to a person? We can either start from the very beginnings of the apocalypse, or years into it. Totally up to you. Also doesn't have to be a zombie apocalypse - maybe its aliens, or just a total collapse of society in general?

They both rule the streets - each one of them as crazy as the other. Cross one? Prepare for a world of pain. I totally wanna go down the route of a toxic, possibly abusive relationship with two people that have wayyy too much power for their own good.

π•—π•’π•§π• π•¦π•£π•šπ•₯𝕖 π•₯𝕣𝕠𝕑𝕖𝕀
- enemies ! to ! lovers! (slowburn ofc) - good ol' love triangle oops - damaged characters - forced alliances - 'one of us is lying'
π•—π•’π•Ÿπ••π• π•žπ•€
- Arcane - Harry Potter - Game of Thrones * - Peaky Blinders - Vikings - Percy Jackson (any kinda Greek mythology tbh) * - ACOTAR * [sub]* really interested in any plots surrounding these[/sub]
There's not a lot here at the moment so consider this a work in progress. PM me with ideas and I'll most likely be up for it!! i look forward to chatting with you soon, hopefully <3
