I watch an anime about once every two years and only saw this because Yam showed me but my operating understanding is we're the assortment of assholes who the Destined Hero must fight against with his OP plz nerf bullshit isekai powers to get the four magic crystal dildos that will open the portal to the demon realm and blah blah blah 

The cackling demon lady who makes the whole battlefield explode, the human henchman who moves faster than a human physically should be able, etc - that's our gaggle of misfits. Some of us have assuredly done this song and dance more than once, too.
