And one of the most important tasks for the Basileus Hierateumatikos was the arrange and prepare the Bennisia, the Festival of Bennis, which happened to be the most important religious festival in the whole Bennipolitan religious calendar. This festival happened annually during autumn, specifically in early October. Furthermore, once every four years, the festival was declared as the Greater Bennisia, which called for special festival games, similar to those that took place at Olympia, Delphi, Isthmia, and Nemea. Therefore, Diomedes drafted a letter, commissioned by the Ekklesia, to all the nations of Edoniras.

The Demos of Bennipolis is pleased to announce that we will be celebrating the Greater Bennisia this fall. Therefore, we invite all nations to send athletes in order to compete in the celebratory games for our fair-haired goddess, Bennis. The athletic events, in which your athletes can participate, include but not limited to the following: Chariot Race, Wrestling, Boxing, Pankration, several foot races, and the pentathlon. However, it should be noted that all these events (except for the Chariot Race) would require the accustomed Hellenistic attire in such games and that the games are male only.

Meanwhile, the counterstrike naval force had been sent out. This force, as has already been mentioned, numbered 1400 men strong, including 1000 regulars and 400 knights, and 24 ships strong, including 2 Frigates, 7 Sloops, 7 Schooners, and 8 Brigs.
