I simply adore the "excerpt from "The Real Hobgoblin" by Bumble Billowgub". It really tells a lot about your character's personality that is otherwise hard to show before the actual RPing begin. I like that you've chosen a Hobgoblin, a species normally not seen as intelligent, for your character and made her a [i]scholar[/i]. The irony in that is just savory. Trying to imagine a curvy Hobgoblin, however, is not quite as savory :-P
Oh, did you forget the Dislikes? Or does she just not have any? If that's the case, I don't believe you. Everyone dislikes [i]something[/i].

I like how awkward your character is and how he just falls into place despite this awkwardness. He has that kind of, "Oh, honey", effect of just wanting to baby him because of how, sort of, pathetic he comes off as.

Your character's magical ability to draw the light away; you need to explain that. Even if [i]he[/i] doesn't know how it works, I still need to. And [i]how[/i] can he use this type of magic? Neither of his parents has this ability (though I guess it wouldn't be [i]that[/i] long of a shot for it to be some mutated Dark Elf power), so how did [i]he[/i] get it? Some ancestors? Blessed/cursed by some deity?
A handshake will not be offered until that part is fixed.
