He had to go out to the fields and meet up with his staff. They were in the middle of growing the seasonal batch and since the day had blessed them with the rain there was very little that they had to do. Most of the morning was spent caring for the animals, Ulises usually took care of the feeding, his favorite part was feeding the barn cats. By the time he was done, Luna was already up and ready for her breakfast. By the time Alexis, the live-in nanny was done getting Luna ready for her day Ulises had already cooked and served breakfast for the three of them. Alexis usually spent the mornings out around the grounds with Luna exploring or some lessons. But since it seemed like the rain wasn't going to stop any time soon she planned a movie day and forts. Ulises agreed to get back home just in time to watch a movie with them. He still had to load his truck with some of the fresh produce their local market needed. He couldn't delay this delivery since he had to cancel the last one due to Luna catching a stomach bug. He'd been too worry and none of his employees knew how to drive a truck he'd have to cancel. Would have been fine, if it wasn't raining cats and dogs at the moment. Ulises kissed Luna's forehead and waved his goodbyes to Alexis he slipped on his boots and threw on the heavy raincoat before leaving out the door to help load the truck. It was around 8 am when he arrived at the market and the rain had worsened. Luckily his new raincoat was living up to the Amazon ratings as it kept most of the water out of the coat's warm interior. Unloading the truck was always a lot more time-consuming than actually loading it. They had to make sure that everything was going to the right place with the right amount and then double-check again to make sure nothing was missing from the order. By the time Ulises was done with everything, he was hungry again. So he drove his truck down the street and parked a few steps away from the Fox Hole. Ulises jogged into the shop, sighing in relief when he was finally out of the rain and into the dry warm room.
