Well, I never actually... Knew that timeline thing... Existed. Hmm. It's food for thought, and it actually looks okay... I'll have to look through it later on.

He'd probably be well known in Hoenn for absolutely destroying their league, and other regions would probably also hear about it, but I don't think he'd be too well known outside of his region. Dunno, maybe get some opinions from the others. :P

There's no rush for it to happen, I just hope it does soon. they're doing much more than I would have, and I have no right to even think about rushing them. I second that we need preview back, that'd be really good to have as well. 

Desmond would be baffled by his lack of drive, but wouldn't question it outright. He'd try to get to know him in order to understand him better. Of course, only time will tell if he makes any progress in understanding Rian. Who knows, he might not be able to grasp it at all, and will end up either going home, or dying, with it on his mind.

I don't know if it has a name, but it always made me kind of think of half a pokeball or something similar.
