As of 2025, this game is being resumed after a two year hiatus due in part to the announcement of a third Avatar series.
The new official series will cover the hypothetical canon of the era we're currently playing in.
I felt it necessary to complete as much of this story as I could before its release.

Two days ago, an explosion in the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se set off a chain of events that changed the city forever. Benders began to appear everywhere, threatening a peace that had been established 100 years ago. The LSF were mobilized to suppress and eliminate any Benders that made it out of the city and as far as anyone was concerned within the agency, the mission was a success.

Earlier today, at a rescheduled event held for the celebration of the centennial anniversary of the end of the Great War, the King addressed the city to share a troubling announcement. Elsewhere in the Upper Ring, Katakuri made a life changing choice, putting his family first and forcing Zhen and Object-141 to hunt him down.
