Name: Beatrix "Bea" Emsworth

Appearance: Beatrix has short, curly, mousy-brown hair, with brass welding goggles sitting atop it, green eyes and freckles. She tends to wear a white blouse, outer corset, shorts, stockings and buckle boots. On the sleeves of her blouse, she wears sleeve garters and on her legs, leather garters to support her stockings. She has a collection of pocket-watches, and tends to wear at least one. Gloves, brooches, a belt with a bag attached and a few cogs are all common accessories. In public, she's normally in one of three outfits. A long coat above her own clothes,  her own clothes, or modest dresses, with her hair pinned up- normally used when she doesn't want to draw attention.

Personality: Bea is a... peculiar woman. She has an obsessive nature, and currently obsesses over Automatic dolls. If you look past that, you can see why certain people like her. She's knowledgeable and silly, but serious at times as well.  In the public eye, she is seen as a 'kook'- an eccentric, or mad person.  She often stays up late at night, reading books, taking apart items, tinkering around with them and putting them back together again. If you're close to Beatrix, she'll care a lot about you, and be very protective. very  Of course, she has quite bad qualities too. She can be rude, very obsessive, short tempered at times, stubborn, and more. She struggles making friends, and would rather be tinkering around with things or fixing machines. If you ask about inventions, history or science, she can go on a ramble, so beware!  Beatrix dreams of being a pioneer, and introducing the world to her (by most accounts, bonkers) inventions and engineering.  Currently, she aims to purchase an automatic doll and study it.

History:  Born into a rich family, Beatrix was raised to be a lady, not an engineer. When she was very young, she met a scientist who told her of the wonderous technological advances, and she began to spend most of her free-time studying engineering. Over the years, studying became tinkering, and tinkering became building. Of course, she still studies, and tinkers, but building is one of her favourite past-times.  Bea heavily idolises the Danford Mechanarium, and dreams of starting her own engineering company.  Meeting Elizabeth was a dream come true, and she cares alot about people who are close to her.

Equipment: Bea uses a basic toolkit to take things apart and tinker with them, and at times has taken trinkets like jewellery or her precious pocket-watches, apart, and putting in a defensive twist. She owns a ring with poison in it- just empty the contents into a drink, and it SHOULD work.  It's unknown how she gets her hands on the defensive items or weapons that she adds to the trinkets, but she mostly keeps it a secret from most people, and will never use them unless the situation is dire.

Skills: Surprisingly, Beatrix is skilled in martial arts, which is more commonly used in place of the trinkets she alters. Ignoring the defensive trinkets, she (pretty obviously at this point) likes to tinker with items, to learn how they work.  Bea is pretty good at fixing  machines, but has never really done it for money- more for amusement.
