[@Nika Vulpes] There are no humans living anywhere around where the group of cats and other animals live that. Therefore, there wouldn't be any dogs to go and attack the cats. There'd be wolves, foxes, coyotes, and I think some other canine-themed animals around, but no dogs. Wild dogs couldn't really be a thing, since they'd have to travel very far from human land to get to the mountains.
