Because that's not how this particular RP works, I supose. Myke has a plan for their rps, and that's the path of this one they chose to format. The length of time it takes is regrettable...but when life happens or muse eludes you, you can't help gaps in the planning process. Writers block is also a thing. 

Myself, I do enjoy a good quick, jump right in and let stuff flow rp, but that's not the direction this one is going, clearly. 

The best thing to do is just wait. It'll happen when it happens. there's no rush.
