My character will be named Nika. (naming conventions are either Latin words/names or sounds, like Rie or Riko) It means victory in Latin. She's 15 and very worried about taking her test. Her mother is an immigrant and a stultus, no one knows who her father is. Because of that, everyone in the nursery hates her and in schooling, she always gets secondary supplies. Her test is coming up and she's brilliant, but she's sure she's going to get put in stultus because of her mother. Her mother is excited, she wants to spend time with her daughter. Nika is terrified, but she's more worried for her sister than her. A man from the College of Diplomacy has always been oddly nice to her and hinted at getting her into his College.

Her sister is 14 and the only youth she cares about. She's worried that she'll end up in stultus and do something stupid, and she's worried that when she's taken out of the nursery, wherever she goes, her sister will get picked on.
