“I think we can very easily leave someone to their own danger.” Bowyn wondered how one could smell that someone was a light elf and that their heart was racing but he didn’t ask. Bridgette hadn’t seemed overly fond of talking, at least in the beginning, and Bowyn wasn’t overly fond of hearing about different scents either. Bardulf, who had proven himself competent over the week, seemed smart enough to know that their goal here was to avoid unnecessary danger. A light elf being chased by something big and likely angry was unnecessary danger. “Well there ya go, Bridgette, sounds like an idiot pissed off the wrong creature and now gets to learn a valuable lesson. Not our problem.” “Danger?” The head of a stoat poked out from Bowyn’s pocket, beady eyes darting around. There were two words that Raze could pick up on without needing a translation; danger and food, either word instantly grabbed his attention. “Not for us.” Bowyn answered calmly, scratching the head of the stoat. “Food?” Raze’s next word was somewhere between a question and a demand. “No food.” Bowyn responded as he noted the strange rustling of the trees just as a light elf jumped out from the trees and ended up right at Mister Luum’s side. It was just as he suspected; Mister Luum was a magnet for trouble. “Why?” The curious Raze watched the new elf but was more concerned by the fact that the group had all stopped and there was no food being eaten. “Umm, incoming owlbear?” Bowyn answered the stoat, who looked around again before accepting that this was not the time for food and nestled back into the protection of the pocket. “So you thought, lead the owlbear toward others, let someone else sort out your mess. Great plan, typical elf logic.” Bowyn addressed the stranger, it didn’t take any sort of skill to note his annoyance. Since the stranger had gone right ahead and inserted herself in their group, it looked like Mister Luum was getting exactly what he wanted; a chance for Bardulf to test his skill against danger. This meant the rest of them had to make sure an enraged owlbear wasn't going to get a lucky swipe against Bardulf and ruin the rebellion before it really got started.
