Kadia blinked, surprised at how easily Beta Ling had dismissed her. She growled in obvious annoyance and padded away, muttering under her breath. She wanted to go looking for Ella, but nobody had allowed her to or even shared her worries. For all she knew, Ella was dead. And she couldn't have that. Ella had been her closest friend. [i]Fine! I'll find her myself![/i] She began to head in the general direction of the camp's exit before sighing and laying down near it. [i]No. I can't.
