While yes the Tree Monkey would one hundred percent be the [i]logical[/i] choice when it comes to a pet assistant for things as simple as handing over tools, there is also the idea of a Gupoo just floating around in an artificed harness with a bunch of arms on it carrying things around and tidying up the room. Like a much less malevolent probe droid from Star Wars lmao. Also the puffballs are absolutely adorable and I feel it better suits the character lol.
