Zi's eyes lit on Jaden for only a moment, but he tracked him through the crowd even after his main attention returned to Bee. He gave Richter a glare that clearly meant he'd be speaking to the other guard once they were away from the party. Being late, even with an excuse, was not something Zi had hired Richter for; he'd hired him to do the job, and be on time. I have to keep an eye on that shapeshifter. Don't think he is who he seems, He thought, not letting his thoughts show. Deaik moved a little closer to Bee and the guards, but still kept his distance. His behaviours were pretty normal for the average party-goer, except he wasn't. He wasn't expecting competition for the key tonight, so perhaps it was a good time to take it. He doubted he would succeed, so he hung back.
