Jaden heard the gunshot and immediately "vanished." Okay, well, he turned into a nat and flew away.

Whisper noticed Zi giving chase and sprinting up to the stage, forgetting Jaden for the moment. She caught Bee and set her carefully on the ground, taking a roll of bandages out from her pocket. While this did reveal her gun, the weapon was still locked safely in its holster. Whisper hadn't been the shooter. She took out a dagger and paused. 

"[color=f6989d]I have to get the bullet out. This is going to hurt, okay?[/color]" She studied Bee's face, not wanting to add to the sudden pain. At least the small warning might help.
