[@Eviledd1984] The initial plan is between the original series and the first movie, most likely near the end of or directly after the Enterprise's five-year mission. So enough time to follow up on TOS plot points and characters for cameos and such, but without having to address the idea of the movies happening off-screen.

This is absolutely negotiable, of course. If the majority of people prefer another era, we can do that too.
