Family is a good starter. Did they have a normal family? Mother, Father, brothers, sisters? Grandma and Grandpa? 

Or was this a line family - First Husband, First Wife, Second Husband, Second wife, Third Husband, Third Wife, etc. A lot of brothers and sisters

Is one or more parents well known for something?
Did they grow up in the city? Did they move? Why did they move?
When did they meet their first symbiote? First Star Fleet person?
