If you're worried about taking liberties and doing something wrong while in a pre-established location, you could always just do some introspective or self-absorbed contemplation and/or testing. As with Minami, she was very confused about why her chest had suddenly grown dramatically, or why she was wearing a dress There were other sensations as wlel, like how her voice was different and more clear, as well as just plain louder - along with her senses feeling sharper/better. You could always do something like that, just focusing on how your characters react to their new form and the various changes they experience in said form as compared to when they were human.
 At least until you get more information from NoCo what or who is around and you cna decide if you want to peacefully explore and look at things or try to talk to people, or go psycho-slasher and just try to wreck everything and everyone.
