This seems logical, as she would be like only 2 years older than middle child. I'm not sure yet when she would hve come into Thierry's/Sabrina's care as opposed to her mother's, but I'm thinking her mother may be a foreigner that went back to her country? And either my character wanting to stay in France or the mom basically saying here, Thierry, take her, bye peace.
