I think what it boils down to is that he desperately wants to protect Theo from the terrible aspects of working for The Louvre. Yet with Nick, he was involved with being on the field from the beginning. So since there's things like assassination involved with working for a society like The Louvre, he absolutely hides things from Theo, but not so much Nick.

I am curious about Aurélie's initial opinion of Nick and then how it evolves over time!
